Jeff's latest CD, Weather From Another Planet, has recently been released on the First World Music (FWD) label, and is now available on his updated order form. Here's a sneak preview of the cover artwork:

Also, a recent server re-arrangement has caused several of the older sample audio clips available on this site to be "scrambled" -- we're working on getting those clips replaced with new & improved MP3 format files (the old ones were Real Audio format, which is less and less used these days). Wide View, Jeff's first album of new "pure ambient" material in several years, has been released on Hypnos and is available to purchase. Sound clips are available on the Hypnos Online Store here, and will be linked on this site soon. Wide View may be purchased direct from Jeff using this form, or from the Hypnos store (link above) if you wish to pay by credit card.

Hana will be performing January 12 at the Crocodile in Seattle.

Hana performs June 28th at the Baltic Room in Seattle and August 4th at the Sky Church, EMP, Seattle.

On April 28 Hana will be performing at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle to celebrate the release of their new album 'Omen.' Hana also performs May 12 at the Fez in Portland.

The third LAND album "Road Movies" has been released on the FWD label and is now available for order direct from Jeff Greinke on this web site's direct order page. LAND will give a CD release performance March 22nd at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle to celebrate the release of "Road Movies."

Jeff performs solo at the Medicine Hat, Portland OR March 2nd.

On April 24, Hana, Jeff's collaboration with Anisa Romero, will release a followup to their acclaimed first album. 'Omen,' on First World (FWD), will be more rhythmic and song-oriented in comparison while maintaining a highly textural and evocative sound. Ben Ireland (drums) and Fred Chalenor (upright and electric bass, stick) also play on the record.

The long -awaited third LAND album, 'Road Movies,' is in the final stages of production. It is scheduled for retail release Feb 2001. However, it will become available through www.firstworldmusic.com in early January. LAND is Jeff Greinke - sounds and rhythms, Lesli Dalaba - trumpet, Dennis Rea - guitar, Fred Chalenor - bass, Bill Rieflin - drums. It promises to be every bit worth the wait.

The most recent Greinke CD release is the Projekt Records reissue of his two-albums-on-one-CD collection, Over Ruins/Moving Climates. It is now available for purchase on the direct order page, as well as from Projekt.

The upcoming LAND album has be re-titled Road Movies. It is currently being mixed, and release (on the FWD label) is expected in June 2000.

Over Ruins/Moving Climates, a combination of two of Jeff's early works from the mid 1980's, is scheduled to be re-released on Projekt Archive in April 2000.

Jeff has just released two new CD's- Hana a collaboration with Sky Cries Mary vocalist Anisa Romero-a collection of multilayered moody ambient dreamworks. And Ride, Jeff's latest solo album of groove-based textural landscapes featuring several Seattle musicians.

Jeff's group LAND is mixing their third recording, entitled Winnebago Weekend, to be released in 2000.

Jeff has formed a new label and distribution network with four other Seattle musicians called First World (FWD). They released five new albums in May including Hana and Ride. Other releases include Trey Gunn's Raw Power, Bill Rieflin's Birth of a Giant and the first Radio Chongching album. The next FWD release is Repercussions of Angelic Behavior by Reiflin, Gunn, and Fripp. In November FWD will begin nationwide distribution through City Hall Records.
