Title: Keith Emerson
Post by: drkappa on March 11, 2016, 01:53:57 PM
"Welcome my friends to the show that..." well, has ended.  Just had a news
flash on the Bbc website that Keith Emerson has died aged 71. :-[  Sad news
indeed. No doubt we''ll continue to lose our musical heroes from the 70s at an
accelerating rate.  At least we have a rich legacy of recordings and videos of
live shows featuring flying keyboards.

Time to play some Tarkus.

It was really just yesterday....or so it seems that I watched a video of him standing in front of the Moog reissue of his modular system. Sad indeed.  Your here in a blink.....

Always been a fan of The Nice, especially, and ELP less so.
I remember his autobiography from 2002: Pictures of an Exhibitionist.   :)

Here is Keith doing some great piano work

Yeah, you'll have to click on it to jump to Youtube to view it.
Love Lee Jackson's voice on this.

I won't pretend I was a massive fan or anything, but way too many rock stars have been passing away lately.
