I'd like to buy this plugin as it's no longer possible to order it from the developer.
I'm looking forward to hearing from people wanting to sell their copy, I'm willing to pay a good price.

On Discogs you should find most of them, as you mentioned. I bought mine nearly all there, some through Amazon...

COMING SOON :: Wintersilence - Submental Vol. 2

Wintersilence - Submental Vol. 2

Greetings,
Tomas

Ah great, finally time to fill the metal box ;)

I used to rely on WinAmp, but since it's got bigger and bigger I switched to foobar2000, which offers really nice components and customization possibilites.
Though I still use Winamp because of Streamripper to record radio shows.

Thanks, that's great news. I'm looking forward to new releases.
If you need more helping hands, let me know, it would be great to get involved.

So very sorry!  Geoff, who is the new owner of Earth Mantra, had one of those summers/falls/ years?  where work became ridiculously busy - so he decided to put the relaunch off until early 2014.  I'm helping with technical stuff, but Geoff is the owner and steering the new ship.  I had the same problem with Relaxed Machinery (which Geoff helps me with) - work has gotten crazy so some things are pushing out (although we're still releasing about every 6 weeks.)

It will be back!

John

Does anybody know if this is still true ? I love this netlabel, and I'm checking their website nearly daily to see if new material is available, but no ... :(

Hey Richard, this is exactly what I was looking for, since I want to start putting all my digipaks in such plastic sleeves.
Do you maybe know an online source in EUROPE where one can order those to avoid high shipping.
Thanks, Mirko

Hi Mirko, most recently I did some research to find suitable source in Europe for these Japanese resealable outer sleeves, but no luck so far. But at least I have found cheaper seller, SoundSourceCDs, based in Los Angeles. They sell also via eBay. Did order with them some days ago, everything went well, highly recommended!!! Few links:

Hi, thanks for your help.
The new owner of SYNGATE records told me he gets them from

www.musictools.de

so I'm gonna take them there, since they cost 3,5 cent per piece there, which is very nice. And they have them also for double CD cases etc. etc.

Hi Blake,

as a huge collector, I definitely prefer digipak packaging. You have done nice job with "The Geometry Of Shadows" release, so keep on it, if possible, that's my opinion.

I protect each CD release, no matter if digipak, jewel case, wallet..., with resealable outer sleeves from Elusive Disc (based in Anderson, IN), so you can avoid unwanted damages:

Ulver - Kveldssanger

First listen to this album after a few years. It still moves me a lot.

There's nothing more exciting than rediscovering a CD that's been in your collection for at least a decade but hasn't been played for years.

I like when the booklet is written in native language instead of English. Since, besides ambient I listen to a lot of metal, I have a lot of CDs whose booklets are written in Swedish, Norvegian, Finnish or Russian, and even if I don't understanf a word, I like it. It's something different than the usual English standard booklet.
The same goes for the song lyrics.

Tange - A Tub Full of Tange

At the moment I'm listening to track 4. It's an amazing compilation, for me it contains some of the best ambient I've ever heard. Floating, dreamy, light (I don't enjoy dark stuff at the moment), simply perfect. Gordon is a genius :) And it's free

anticipating:

bvdub - all is forgiven (n5md) pre-ordered!
bvdub - a careful ecstasy (darla)
steve roach & byron metcalf - tales from the ultra tribe
treha sektori - endessiah (cyclic law)
steve hauschildt - sequitur (kranky)

jim02, I love your posts in this section. I wouldn't have known about new bvdub releases otherwise.

I've been listening to Bing Satellites - Landscape and Drift this morning while working. Wonderful album, especially the last track.

Thanks a lot for the info. Cool to know he also released an album on Earth Mantra, one of my favourite ambient (net)labels. I think I'm gonna give that one a new listen in the near future...

Other Ambient (and related) Music / Srg? Any info?
« on: October 06, 2012, 02:28:17 AM »
Years ago I stumbled on archive.org over this ambient or drone artist called Srg. He's got some nice longform ambient works there, for example:

http://www.archive.org/download/http://archive.org/details/DroneAug2004
http://www.archive.org/download/http://archive.org/details/MantraAug2005_82
http://www.archive.org/download/http://archive.org/details/HowthMantra

Does anyone here know anything about that artist ? I can't find anything on Discogs and it seems that outside of archive.org there's nothing available by him/her.
