i locked my keys in my car the other day. it took me an hour to get back in. it would have taken forever if the windows had been closed.

that was very similar to the scene when griff played philly with dave fulton and jeff pearce. i think it was jeff kowal who was freaking out.

i love the groove label. ron and kees are good people and the music satisfies my need for berlin school activity.

no sweat, griff. bug shit is an excellent anti-oxidant, a good aphrodisiac and a recommended cholesterol killer.

I just wanted to let everyone know that our own Jim Brenholts (Rigel Orionis) is in the hospital and had a mild heart attack last week. ................

thanks all for the kind words.
i wish it had been a mild heart attack. it was a major one! i was on the cath table and the doc had just placed a stent and - bang - my blood flow stopped and my heart rate and bp dropped to 40! all hell broke loose and everyone was rushing around in panic mode and i was in excruciating pain. i was code blue (crash) for 30 seconds. i was one scared guy!
i am on cumadin protocol and go back in 2 weeks for re-assessment.

took an old toy guitar and replaced 5 of the strings with low e's - a very cool sound and great drones!

Whatever the case, imagine the balls it takes to try to pull off something like this.
or lack thereof.

i really don't care much about the packaging - i almost always trust that the music will be good. when it's on hypnos, i trust that it will be great!

.................. I believe Donald Rumsfeld said not so sympathetically, "stuff happens".
paraphrasing a saying in aa - shit happens!

added a lap steel to my repertoire today. the ebow is the perfect compliment for this cool instrument. i am getting the feel for the bottleneck slide but had to order a tonebar.
the lap steel was $79.95 - inc shipping - on ebay. it might not be the best lap steel but for the price who cares?

it absolutely sucks and a half - twice!
not only is it not electronic it features more vocals by youth rather than sir paul. it is just plain bad!

i just saw this and it is quintessential tarantino - equal parts shock, violence and humor. hearing brad pitt's accent is hilarious and it gets deeper, darker and funnier from there. the best character - by far - is a nazi.
