Hello everyone, this is one of my projects.!/pages/Exo-4/213753905315866?sk=app_178091127385
Exo 4 @Ingenuity Fest 2011

Exo 4 is a group of artists and musicians exploring elements of Jazz, Ambient Space, Avant-Garde, Free Improvisation and Electronica. Always exploring different ways to interpret modern music and art, Exo 4 is on the cutting edge of technology. The music and visuals take the listener on a personal journey to places they can only dream about, and the feeling of being in another world of space and time is often the mood at an Exo 4 performance. Soundscapes of nature, unstoppable grooves and tribal rhythms, searing guitar solos and floating violins are some of the words used to describe the music. Trippy existential projections, abstract light waves and moving artscapes surround the audience and performers and set the stage for a fantastic, mind expanding experience. An Exo 4 experience

Other Ambient (and related) Music / Ohio Events

Ok, I live close to Cleveland Ohio.
Does anyone know of any ambient, space or experimental music event happening in this part of the world?
About 7 years ago Robert Rich played a vegan resturant in Columbus, Matt Borghi had done 3 different shows around the area 2 with Jason Sloan, but I've seen nothing closer then Philly with The Gatherings since then.
I made all those shows  :D

I'm going to try to find places in the Cleveland area to play solo ambient shows, right now I'm working with a group called EXO4, myspace is the only site for now, they have played several shows in the Cleaveland area and are getting a small following, the only ambient part of what we do is the "space" between improv jams, but I think I may be able to go a little different way solo and ambient space.

Is anyone here from this area?

Other Ambient (and related) Music / Sites to upload mp3's
« on: March 03, 2011, 07:31:45 PM »
Hello all,
first let me say I'm not sure where to post this post.....

Since I released The Dream Captain my recordings have all been long form, 45 min plus, (I know whos isnt)....
my question is where is a FREE website to upload the longest .mp3 files, I have some things on soundclick but its limited in size.
I would like to post things to get feedback from people with open minds.
I have 4 discs I would like to move forward with but would like to get some opinions.
Any help would be appreciated

Music Gearheads Tech Talk / Arp tempos and delay settings
« on: February 21, 2011, 10:01:40 PM »
Does anyone know how to figure the delay time to fit in with an arpegiator?

say like, my CS2X tempo is 56, the sub tempo is 1/16

this may be a rudimentary question, I hope not

Other Ambient (and related) Music / Back again

Hello all, I've been off of here for a long time.....actually thought the site was gone.
Glad its not.
Any way I'm looking at doing more on the ambient, space side of things again.
I did do a cd in 1999 called Adrian Stone-The Dream Captain, had a few reviews, some from guys on this forum, sold enuff to break even.
Since then I have recorded several projects and have been listening to them for years and sometimes sharing.
Anyway I'm going to be looking at doing something with them now as far as marketing,
everything is longform 45 mins plus and in one take with no overdubs, no software, just guitars, synths and guitar synth.

so I'll be poppin in askin questions
