Hi,

just wanted to let you guys know that my first album is now officially available as download on bandcamp. A cd version is also planned and should be available around the end of march. I have been working consistently on this album for about 3 years now and really hope some of you might enjoy it. The music could be described as my personal take on ambient music which is heavily influenced by modern classical music as well as electronic music.

Hi Guys,

well i thought i let you know that in a not to distant future, i will release my first Vinyl Record.
It took a long time to get to this point were i felt, that i had said anything with my Music in
terms of just "pure guitar droning". Of course it makes me proud that people still enjoy listening
to those recordings. But for me personally, as an artist, it felt so damn good to finally express
myself the way i alway wanted it to do.

Why should i limit myself to just a guitar, when there are so many other sources to use.

"A Shiver in Red" is a new beginning for myself as an artist. For the first and surely not the
last time i used other Sources then just my guitar. I used Field Recordings and Shortwave Radio
Manipulations and Electronics. I also feed my Guitar through self-build patches that i worked
on for quiet a while. One can make my guitar sound like a church-organ when i play the right
chords. Its amazing. Noise is also a huge factor for this new Album. Not the kind of Merzbow
Noise, more soft crackling, a bit of white noise, faulty transitions from my old Shortwave Radio
and that kind of thing. This really enhances the sounds in my opinion.

Hi Guys,

i thought it would be very funny and at the same time interesting
to hear your very first recordings you ever made as a musician.

Mine is not so long ago. Guess 3-4 Years before i started making
this Guitar Drone Music. I was 16 years old when i recorded that one.

I was into this Synth-based Ambient Music at this time.
So my first piece i ever recorded was "this" one.
I listened to it a few minutes before i posted this thread for the first time
in about 3 years, and i still think its kind of good.
Maybe i should get more into this synth-based music

let me know if i should perhaps end my career as an guitar droner
and should start a "real" ambient musician career. Just kidding.
