Hi Guys,

been a long time. Some of you maybe remember me from my former project "Seconds in Formaldehyde" or my "Grauton" Album that was released more then 4 years ago. I finally found the time to record some new music and will release an album called "Six String Dream Machine" in December of 2017. During the next months I will update the bandcamp site with small preview samples of how the new music is going to sound. Looking forward to you guys checking it out. If there is a small label that would be interested in releasing a small physical edition, than please get in contact with me. That would mean the world to me.

just wanted to let you guys know that my first album is now officially available as download on bandcamp. A cd version is also planned and should be available around the end of march. I have been working consistently on this album for about 3 years now and really hope some of you might enjoy it. The music could be described as my personal take on ambient music which is heavily influenced by modern classical music as well as electronic music.

Hi Guys. Just wanted to share this with you. My last official record A Shiver in Red was released quiet a while ago. Only on Vinyl and since a few people asked for a cd version i realized a small pressing (50 Copies) in custom made digipacks. Maybe a few people who thought about buying the album were afraid of the vinyl format. So now thats their time i guess ;) There are samples and a few nice reviews over at

the price would be 8€ (shipping included) for Germany / Europe and 10€ (shipping included) for the rest of the world. There is also a free download from my bandcamp site (mp3 or flac) included with every physical copy (codes will be send after purchase).

Hi Guys,

well i thought i let you know that in a not to distant future, i will release my first Vinyl Record.
It took a long time to get to this point were i felt, that i had said anything with my Music in
terms of just "pure guitar droning". Of course it makes me proud that people still enjoy listening
to those recordings. But for me personally, as an artist, it felt so damn good to finally express
myself the way i alway wanted it to do.

Why should i limit myself to just a guitar, when there are so many other sources to use.

"A Shiver in Red" is a new beginning for myself as an artist. For the first and surely not the
last time i used other Sources then just my guitar. I used Field Recordings and Shortwave Radio
Manipulations and Electronics. I also feed my Guitar through self-build patches that i worked
on for quiet a while. One can make my guitar sound like a church-organ when i play the right
chords. Its amazing. Noise is also a huge factor for this new Album. Not the kind of Merzbow
Noise, more soft crackling, a bit of white noise, faulty transitions from my old Shortwave Radio
and that kind of thing. This really enhances the sounds in my opinion.

Here is the Artwork and the Tracklist. I will also post Samples in the coming Weeks.

:: Tracklist ::

Side A
A Shiver in Red
Desirable Black
Interlude for Lovers (part one)
Various Colour Movements (part one)

Side B
A Shiver in White

Love Noise

Hope you dont mind this little insult. But i am so glad about this record that i wanted to share
it with you.

Hi Guys,

short question. I finished recording my new Album (its been 2 years since the last
official studio album) and its set for a release on Vinyl in March/April. Does anyone
know what i should be aware of when mastering this for Vinyl? Or does anyone
know someone who could do this for me professional? Already contacted James
Plotkin and wait for his quote.

kind regards

how much shipping will be. Payment via Paypal is fine with me.

Hi Guys,

i am looking for a Song, that is often used
in Documentary's (9/11) or other sad Documentary's.

There are just a few piano notes. played pretty slow
but its a wonderful melodie. At the end there are also
quiet strings. Maybe someone could help me.
I am sure when you could listen to it, you would
recognize immediately. Because its quiet famous
for this kind of stuff. Its no Enya or such thing.
I would rather say that it reminds me of Sakamotos
play, or Brian Eno & Harold Budd, but it ain't.

Would be great if you could help me.

Melting Reminiscence.

Thanks for your interest.

Hi Guys,

wanted to inform you, that the new Disc from Jason is now
available for ordering. Wonderful Soundscape in the tradition
of Steve Roach and others. Limited to 100 Copies on a black

STATIC [thelema.dawning] is a 22 min piece that is divided into
two movements. The first movement is mostly an organ with some
guitar. The second movement is guitar only and builds into a wall of
pure guitar sound. I was so impressed while hearing this piece and it
heavily reminded me of Steve Roach and his approach to space music.
So its highly recommended for space music fans but also for fans of shoegaze.

Hope you Guys enjoy this as much as i do.

Everything and Nothing / Your first Recording ever?
« on: February 03, 2008, 09:45:41 AM »
Hi Guys,

i thought it would be very funny and at the same time interesting
to hear your very first recordings you ever made as a musician.

Mine is not so long ago. Guess 3-4 Years before i started making
this Guitar Drone Music. I was 16 years old when i recorded that one.

I was into this Synth-based Ambient Music at this time.
So my first piece i ever recorded was "this" one.
I listened to it a few minutes before i posted this thread for the first time
in about 3 years, and i still think its kind of good.
Maybe i should get more into this synth-based music ;)

let me know if i should perhaps end my career as an guitar droner
and should start a "real" ambient musician career. Just kidding. ;D

Here is the link to the file.

Hi Guys.

The old thread was deleted because of the new Forum, so i decided to give it
another try.

The first 2 Waterscapes are now sold out. Mike does have a few Copies left i think.

So what do we face in 2008?

[ws03] Light of Shipwreck - Through the Bilge Lies A Calm And Bloodless Sea

[ws04] True Colour of Blood - The Cave of Knowledge

[ws05] Taiga Remains - Descend from Ivory Cliffs

and also upcoming releases by Peter Wright, Jason Sloan and Matt Borghi.

There are Excerpts and the whole Artwork for all the Releases now online, because i finally found
some time to completely update the site. :)

One Note: As you might read, i'm totally in love with the Taiga Remains
Release. I guess i should love all my sheep's the same way, but i cant
help myself. Descend from Ivory Cliffs is such a breathtaking record.
Thats also the reason for me to release it in a run of 100 Copies.

So for more Infos go to or ask questions in this
thread if you want to. :)
