i think so far it sounds absolutely beautiful.. those are the atmospheres i do adore (a bit Ishq-y sounding maybe..)
my copy is on the way so we'll see what it sounds/feels like overall.

Everything and Nothing / recommended AV receivers ??

currently while my old Kenwood is dying slowly, i'm looking for a decent middle-class priced AV receiver that has all the latest features,
like mp3 streaming from various sources..
some brands that are crossing my mind are; pioneer, marantz, denon, yamaha, onkyo...

if someone has any experience/suggestions/recommendations, please let me know ! :)

actually i wanted to bring up this issue for a while now. it happens mostly when i stay abroad, like in Asia.
it says; "sorry guest, you are banned from this forum!"

sometimes it helps to 'reset all settings' and delete all history, cache and cookies... but of course it shouldn't be that difficult/elaborate to enter a forum.. :)
what do i wrong or what does iPhone do wrong ??

i recently got introduced to some works (most of them are for FREE on;http://boredmanganesh.bandcamp.com/) by BMG..
i think this german clearly got some talent here, fantastic deep organic droning, sometimes with kind of raga-feeling to it..
and don't forget to check out his new work on Install, Evoke The Present! an awesome collection of drones, atmospheres, fieldrecordings with the right amount of grit!

... i was just checking the 12k forum and find out that the lovely Dani, half of the very talented duo CELER has passed away very recently.
i was very shocked to read this, certainly knowing that she was of a very young age..

every Celer release was one to lookward to, very much, since they were developing a very refined style of their own.

my thoughts are going to Will and her family.

recently i'm into the world of gamelan music again.. as far as my sandy brain can rememember, there was some talk in a Steve Roach newsletter about a new upcoming full-lenght by Loren Nerell.. i would say, exciting though!

can you tell us something about it, Loren..?
i also saw an upcoming re-issue of TERRAFORM on Projekt, which i always enjoy quite a lot.
