Got my copy a few weeks back, & this is a brilliant release.

It's up there with one of my favourites.

I do yoga most mornings, & I find it is one of the best times to listen to ambient music.

Everything and Nothing / Re: Asperger's syndrome

Hi Mirko

My partners younger brother (nearly 30) was diagnosed last year with Asperger's, & her father is now booked in to see a specialist as they are sure that he has it as well.

I think you are in Queensland, (we are in Sydney, Australia) & there are a few social/community groups that get together & can give you some very good advice. My partner went to a few, & they were able to recommend the best help/assistance (from trial & error!)

Seems to be a very close & supportive network for people with Aspergers & their families.

Best wishes with it.

Great thanks for the recommendations.

Hi had forgotten about the Robert Rich 'Yearning' & agree a great album.

I also like the way David Parsons has used sitar.

Can anyone recommend any CD's that sitars, tanpura's, etc have been used effectively.

I love some of the work that Mathias Grassow, Klaus Wiese have done incorporating it in their work, & I believe Steve Roach used tanpuras on 'Mantram.'

Any suggestions worth checking out?

I just finished watching 'Atlas Dei' (sorry a bit behind the times!), which was absolutely amazing.

Robert is one of those artist that "does no wrong," he consistently produces really quality work, whether it be solo or in collaberation with others - Alio Die, Ian Boddy, Steve Roach, Lustmord, etc.

I love the sounds he gets out of the MOTU.

Kontinuum is also one of my favourite Klaus releases, I get totally lost in that CD.

Also a big fan of some of the earlier work, & not so much of the 'techno-type' of stuff.

I'm looking forward to getting a copy of the Farscape CD as well, & what I've heard sounds great.

I've also noticed there is a new book on Klaus by Mr Mueller, haven't read any reviews though...........

Hi Mirko

Welcome to the board from another "Aussie."

Just had a look at your website & a read of the electroambientspace interview - which is all cool!

You have summed up the Australian ambient scene quite well, although there are a few fans about.

Very keen to check out your music.

Thanks Jim & Mike.

Jim I will send you an email.

I've probably been living under a rock (or something) & totally missed anything about this. I came across a reference to the book on the Alio Die website, & nearly went into a faint after doing some more investigation.

Anyway, tried to order the book & found out that it is now on back order.

Is the book/cd's still available anywhere. I know Jim is a regular on this message board, maybe an update if it is being reprinted.

It looks amazing.
