http://allflac.com/  is however taken...

Not that it looks at all suspicious...

JKN - I actually got a Google notice yesterday that this allflac.com site is selling flac files of my Numina titles (including Hypnos stuff).  Mike, do you send cease and desist type messages to these outfits?  I was about to send an e-mail to their contact... I know I know, it likely falls on deaf ears, but I had the words "illegal" and "lawyer" in the e-mail.

Jim - PM'd you.   I need some cases.

For me it's "The Burning Circle and then Dust" album by Lycia.  Probably the most-played album I own.

nice one JKN.

Speaking of records, I've picked up a few via eBay and WOW, what a bunch of disappointing experiences.  People are not disclosing the condition very accurately at all. Not to mention the standard eBay photo resolution doesn't capture a darn thing. I've had to send one album back... still waiting for refund.  Beware.

Forrest - you can use that directly on the cover artwork / paper of an album sleeve?

What's even worse is when you buy a used album or digipak CD and there's a sticker on the PAPER portion of the album/CD.  Drives me insane!

Thomas, that's too bad it didn't work out for you guys.

I wasn't aware you had not only released on vinyl BUT ALSO an import... and colored vinyl.  Neat!

Here's a little video I shot of my vinyl release. Feel the love. . .

Thomas, what did a vinyl pressing cost you?  How many did you press?

What does it cost per unit for a 7" or 12" pressing?

Oh yeah.  Duh.  I had been using Cool Edit too.  I'm getting old. Memory not so good.

I've used several multi-tracking progs and I keep coming back to Audition.  I find it the most intuitive and easy to use.  I do like Vegas too though.  I have had a few crashes though.  Usually when I'm stopping & starting fast.  Saving often is a good idea with any program though.  Also, it does seem to recover with everything last done in the event it does crash.

I really like this album. I liked it the first time I heard it but like it more as time goes on. I think one thing that throws people off is the artwork. It's completely different from anything Steve has done before and I'm not sure the music fits the artwork vibe (just my opinion, I love the artwork too). The artwork would go a lot better with something far more dark. Incidentally, I was about to use a very similar album cover for one of my Numinamusic releases but Roach beat me to it again! (I was also at one point about to release an album titled "Darkest Before Dawn").

Looks great!

Chad - thanks! Will drop you a line when I'm in the market!

I know Mathew Florianz is a frequent poster here and just wanted to say I found a used copy of his album "Three" the other day and picked it up and am very impressed with it.  very nice work.

Cool. Do I need a vst host? I have never been able to get my Virus TI to work on any of my pcs, but it may be that I'm using Wavosaur. The only programs I use are Acid, SoundForge and Cool Edit. Nothing else. My PC is 9 years old too. I probably need to upgrade.

By the way, Loren, did you scribble "Loren was here" in all the Xpanders you touched like mine had!?!? :D

Mike - yeah, no kidding.  I guess I'm old school! I sort of feel that for the most part I know what I'm looking for these days but there's always that surprise here and there.
