What adblocker do you use ?

I can tell you in my slimjet browser I use it has a built in adblock plus adblocker, I did recently switch to uBlock orgin adblocker and wow I would not make this thread if it wasnt for the fact that I am deeply impressed with how much the pages loud now.. very dramatic difference.

This benchmark test comparing the most popular ad blockers cofirm that ublock orgin is the best right now.
I use it in combination with Ghostery also, they both complete each other I think.

If you use android phone I really recommend (require no root)

This was recorded in 2009. I would say it is more focused on good sound then maybe the most artistic music (gets more mesmerizing towards the end though). It can appeal to steve roach and opphoi fans, especially the ending part I would say is very oophoi-like.

From what I recall I used ariesverb as reverb. What I have learned since 2008 it is that I do not need the ambient to be that melody based, If I would had done it today it would be more atonal just lite the ending part. Looking forward to record more 2017 starting to feel inspired and ready now again. Just sharing my old stuff first.

December is a really good time for Steve Roach music for some reason..  anyway 3 new albums will be released soon to welcome 2017, I hope that means some will be released in December otherwise January. No more information has been given.. stay tuned for more information.

This is one of my very first ambient  recording attempts in 2009, the first synth I was using was NI Massive,  I want to return to it again next time I start recording music

I think this recording is from 2008 or 2009, never shared it before so I do now

Have any one tried the FiiO K1 ?

I am thinking about investing in one since the sound quality in my huawei mate 8 left a lot to be desired

It is ultra portable and affordable as well
if you have it what do you think about it ?
is there any other better alternatives I am open to try that too

Ever since Iphone 7 and their external dac and headphone amp there is more similiar but more powerful products around
I know HRT have one similiar to but what I know the k1 is better

Adrift on slack tide
Trending out into the vestiges
of fading light
The night that dawns knows nothing
of this passing thought
Quietly slipping past the buoys
Ever farther from shore's embrace

A 190 minute dark soundscape album recorded by 25 ambient artists to pay tribute to H.P. Lovecraft.

Field recordings from the deepest dark corners of 4 continents. Dusty tapes out of forgotten archives. Strings through crackling amplifiers and distorted drone combine into a sea of pitch black.

Nyarlathotep is a manipulative being in the Lovecraftian Mythos. Unlike Cthulhu, or Azathoth, he delights in cruelty and deception. Causing madness is more important than destruction to him.

so Iphone 7 and Iphone 7 Plus what is your thoughts about it ?

Meshuggah's new Album is called "violent sleep of reason". Meshuggah have been my favorite artist since 2001.
Do we have any other Meshuggah fans here ?

The new album will be kind of different I think, to begin with they did record their album in denmark instead of themselves, it was recorded the old school way with only live takes..

It will be released 7th october so the wait is soon over!

Antelope audio has released 4 new products

Orion Studio

Zen Tour

Orion 32+

They have also released 3 new clocks
But I consider their trinity level clock that is included in their products are good enough

I did recently sold my Antelope Eclipse for economical reasons and also I wanted to sell it while it did maintain its financial value.
However now I am on the hunt of n upgrade And I must say the Orion Studio seem to fit my requirements kind of good I need to do more research how it compare in the sonic department with the Eclipse and how it stand up as a monitor controller with the Eclipse.

Anyway after having the Eclipse for some years now and really like their sound and philosophy I really cant imagine choosing any other brand right now
Also the software control in their latest products are very forward thinking and impressive imo

The Zen tour looks like a very neat little package I think it blows the Avid Quartet, they are in similar price but I think the sonics are superior with the Zen Tour. I hope antelope release a smaller version of Zen tour to comete with Avid duett and also at the same price point it would be perfect to bring with your laptop, right now the price of the Zen tour is only justified if you really need and work mostly on the foot.

I had thought about buying the Antelope Pure2 first but which have alost same price but it seem you are getting a lot more with the Orion Studio, I need to research how they compare and how they compare in sound quality and as a monitor controller.
