this flick is absolutely hilarious. it is not your typical geek/hot girl movie although there are similarities. basically, like the hangover, this is better than i thought it would be.

this is one of the funniest movies i have ever seen. i think i laughed for 80% of the movie. not your typical party flick.

'Greatest Sporting event of the Year' - not for me.

I'd rather watch 'drunk football' or the 'drug-enhanced olympics'. I think they'd be much more
interesting. :)

Come on now Pete, you're not getting into the real spirit of the Tour. Everyone knows that bicycle racing is the most 'drug-enhanced' sport in the world today.  :D ;D
whoa, whoa, whoa! more drug enhanced than professional baseball?

for some odd reason i have not had any timeliness issues with any cd's i have ordered online. someone on another thread complained about backroads. lloyd shipped more quickly than anyone - or at least as quickly. right now mike is as quick as anyone - so yay mike!

Backroads in Corte Madera, CA finally gone? That's the BEST thing I've heard this year.
Lloyd was a Royal thief! sending me CDs he said were new and I do forensic DNA and
saw scuff marks where it had been played in a CD player and he thought I was stupid?
I'm laughing myself silly about this idiot out of business finally.

well, if you mistrusted him so much that you had to do forensic dna on the discs, why did you do business with him at all? did you tell him that the discs had been played? is it possible that someone sold them to him as new and he trusted them?
lloyd barde is as fine gentleman as i have ever met and a good friend. he never steered me wrong and i wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors!

i recently picked up ocean's 11, 12 and 13. 11 and 13 are very cool and quite slick. 12 is a tad sluggish and slow. however, czj adds tremendous pizazz to any movie she graces so it's ok.
i really dig the series in general. lots of fun to watch.

There was some great "dark electronic" music by Wendy Carlos in the 1980 film "The Shining."   :-*
really? i did not know that. i do know that she did some deep dark stuff for a clockwork orange.

lucette is a brilliant artist. the only surprise is that someone is shocked that she topped herself again!

after watching band of brothers several times i bought the book and the memoirs of dick winters (beyond band of brothers) and buck comptom (call of duty) as well. they are all excellent and every bit as compelling as the movie. buck's story is particularly amazing including his prosecution of sirhan sirhan for the  assassination of robert kennedy.

whoa! mike! this is some serious gray ambience. i love the dirges and the melancholy drones. superb stuff!

downloading it now - looking forward to more new music. it has been a pretty good month for new stuff - so far. there are even 2 more days!

forest! this is an awesome cd! amazing atmospheres and deep tones and drones - cooler than cool!

I know Andy Hughes from The Orb isn't a celebrity outside the ambient scene, but... Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and now, reportedly, Michael Jackson!  Wow.

farrah went from being a bit of a joke to being an extremely classy lady. i have a great deal of respect for her legacy.

mj?!? holy shit!
oh. i see that there are jokes galore about him dying from eating 12 year old nuts.
why does he like 28 year olds? because there are 20 of them.
holy shit times 2! now that i found he did die i feel really bad about making fun of him - NOT!
while jacko certainly had talent, he was perhaps the strangest person on the planet. and he was a child molester - imo, the lowest form of life on any planet.
yes, it is almost always sad when someone dies but i am grateful for all the boys he will not get a chance to molest.
i really hate everything that this dweeb represented. king of pop? no way!

i have really been getting into some of dirk's new stuff - the ffb music can be rough on the first listen but it grew on me real fast. he spoke in dead tongues is a great set.
i also picked up 2 of his discs with klinik 7 - wow! outrageous and cool in a very harsh sense! not typical vidna obmana but it does strike home.

Thanks for the props, Judd. Yes it is a little more active. I think my current MO is to go more to upbeat. As for the Mongols, they just knocked stuff over and got in the way so i sent them out for pizza and they never came back. They still owe me 10 bucks!
jeff, it's worth 10 bucks to get rid of them! have you checked prices on mongol extermination these days! with the rate of inflation it's outrageous! i paid more than 10 bucks just to get ONE to stop hanging around.
