soundworlds on the horizon
i sure miss his sound poetry
and am still interested too. h
it seems like nobody is interested in my music anymore.
I've tried with Nextera but they refused my "Il Silenzio di Dio" (The Silence of God), so I've sent Mike Griffin a proposal about this album but he did not answer.
I've finished two albums, one with Seren Ffordd, "The Martian Chronicles" (inspired by the Bradbury's book), and one with Paul Vnuk, "Zero Distance: The Dreamfields", the sequel to "Distance to Zero".
The first is in Griffin's hands, is a double but he'll release (maybe) a single.
The second is in Vnuk's hands for the final mastering (equalization, balance, dynamics, etc), and I must say that is one of my best works ever, very psychedelic and visionary; I've been working on it for one year, using some Vnuk's sounds and textures for the last piece and doing alone all the others; now Paul should add some more sounds and atmos, then he'll write Mike Griffin.
I have no news about the reissue of "The Path of White Clouds" but Databloem will re-release "Mare Vaporum" and "Signals From The Great Beyond" at the end of may.
I'll keep on composing music for my own pleasure - the economic crisis is killing everything - and maybe the only way to release it is to start again Umbra, for super-limited editions of 30-40 pieces. The future is uncertain.
