Martin Fuhs - Grauton
Wonderful. A nice blend of modern classical, drone-based ambient, and experimental. I'm sorry I didn't discover this sooner.
Thanks for those kind words, Chris. Really appreciated.  :)

Amplifier - Eternity / HAL (2xLP)
just bought this 2 Days ago at a Gig .... love it

Man i am bummed about this.  :'( He truly was the first person that showed interest in my music at a time when no one was
giving a damn about my music. He was also the first one to release my music and i will always be grateful for that. Really a shame i never got the chance to tell him how much this really meant to me.

Hi,

just wanted to let you guys know that my first album is now officially available as download on bandcamp. A cd version is also planned and should be available around the end of march. I have been working consistently on this album for about 3 years now and really hope some of you might enjoy it. The music could be described as my personal take on ambient music which is heavily influenced by modern classical music as well as electronic music.

Just got myself a Spotify Premium Account and already love it. Just explored Max Carbacho. Funny to read about him here. I have been listening to Ars Lucis on repeat and totally enjoy every second. So much good music to dive into thanks to spotify.

Max Carbacho - Light-Matrix Portal
so gentle and relaxing

Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross | The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
what a phenomenal score ... saw the movie last friday and was absolutely blown away by the music and
the way it merged with the visuals of the movie ... didn't knew before that it was by Reznor & Ross but had
a feeling during the first 10min of the movie and something seemed familiar .... and during the credits it showed
me that i was right .... so one day later i had to buy the 3xcd set and i am totally overwhelmed by the music and
the impact it has on me .... its way more drone-based than anything Reznor ever did before and i find the lack of
"beat" or lets say the decision to strip the rhythmic elements to a certain degree very enjoyable ... the thing is,
that this is a 3h monster and i only played cd1 for about 20times already and already sink so deep that i almost feel
bad that i didn't played the other 2cds so far

thanks anthony and darren :)

the first bath was sent out today.

Hi Guys. Just wanted to share this with you. My last official record A Shiver in Red was released quiet a while ago. Only on Vinyl and since a few people asked for a cd version i realized a small pressing (50 Copies) in custom made digipacks. Maybe a few people who thought about buying the album were afraid of the vinyl format. So now thats their time i guess ;) There are samples and a few nice reviews over at www.secondsinformaldehyde.com

the price would be 8 (shipping included) for Germany / Europe and 10 (shipping included) for the rest of the world. There is also a free download from my bandcamp site (mp3 or flac) included with every physical copy (codes will be send after purchase).

Lined up for the morning

- Seconds In Formaldehyde: A Shiver In Red

Hope you enjoy it. :)

Martin: This is the third time I have listened to Shiver and I think its an
excellent album, beginning to end. I enjoy everything about it
... which is rare for me.

A remarkable work.

Really really appreciate it Anthony. Its always wonderful for me to read words
like that. :)

I uploaded most of the stuff to bandcamp and i guess the whole album should
be available by monday morning if not even already tonight. There is also a link
to purchase the "physical" version in form of a Vinyl Record.

The digital download is now online. I do have a small discount of 20% for
the Hypnos Guys here. Just enter "hypnos" before you check out. Valid till
the end of march.

Dream Theater - The Great Debate
for me personally, 6 of Inner Turbulence is the defining album for Dream Theater. They never sounded that good again.

Kangding Ray - Palisades
certainly his best effort so far. incredibly good in every aspect. Love all those subtle bleeps and glitches and
those "film-noir" strings in the background.

I love me some Basinski, especially El Camino Real (which in my book, is his best output) but i am not a big fan
of the latest one. It just doesn't touch me and i don't really like the whole thing.

Yippie. I got my Copies of the Record yesterday. The look brilliant and sound really great. I am incredibly proud that my first
official Record is finally here. Droehnhaus will take orders in early December, i would ship them out in probably a week from now.

There are two Editions. A Standard and a limited one (100 Copies with bonus one-sided 12").

Case in point--the Celer release on Mystery Sea.  I think it sold out in about a week.  Pisses me off I never even got to hear it.  Somebody's selling it on Discogs for 100 Euros.
Do you want me to give you a download link for it?

Hi Guys,

sorry for the long absence. Had to pull my shit together. There are a few news i would like to announce.

A Shiver in Red

Finally. By the end of this month, A Shiver in Red should be available on the wonderful Vinyl Format.
There is a new artwork for that one.

It will be released in an Edition of 300 Copies. There will also be a Limited Edition with another 12" (one-sided though)
that features 2 Outtakes (Both Various Colour Movements) since we had to take them from the normal pressing for
the sake of a better sound quality. That limited Edition will be limited to 100 Copies.

Construct, Unexposed and Calm & Serene are available as digital downloads

I put them up on Bandcamp. They are available in different formats (from mp3 to flac). So you basically get a lossless
file as download. The price is fair if you ask me. I mean, you get lossless files instead of shady 160kbs mp3 (even though
you could get them if you are a fan of mp3). I will also upload some more Stuff (Endpilot Festival 2009, Woodstock Record
Store Gig 2008 and so on. Basically Recordings of Live Performances i did over the last few years). So you may check out
the site on a regular base.

You can get the Albums here. http://secondsinformaldehyde.bandcamp.com/

That's basically it for the moment. I'm glad i am back here. It was always a pleasure to read some very informative stuff
about music.

I honestly like and enjoy this Impressions Disc. Wonderul mix of delicate piano lines and
noisy ambient tunes. I especially love "After Dark" cause it totally sounds like Fennesz & Sakamotos
Cendre. Of course, it doesn't invent anything new but it is a very good album in my opinion.

Alva Noto + Ryuichi Sakamoto - Logic Moon
still the best there is and there ever will be 8)

Everything Mathieu touches turns into pure Gold. So this will be no exception and i will
buy it instantly.
