Everything and Nothing / Re: What do you love?

My childrens' laughter.

Good food, preferably with decent wine.

And ambient.

Couple of weeks ago my son and I took the 5-hour ride down to Asbury Park, NJ to go to the Silverball Museum. (

185 working pinball machines from the 30s to the 90s, all in good condition, all set to free play. $20 for a day-long, come-and-go pass.

Best two days ever.

Nice to see some of us are still kickin' it old school!

My pleasure, of course!   ;D

Podcast 58. This time around you get Ken Elkinson, Darren Rogers, Deborah Martin, A Produce & Loren Nerell, Chad Hoefler, Blood Box, M. Peck, Resonant Drift, Aaron Marshall, Canartic, Anawaty/Russell and N-qia. Enjoy.

Podcast 57. De Wilton, Cometa, Rose, Brand, Morris, Roach, Cox, Jane's, Off Land, Boddy & Parallel, and Dauer. I think this is a pretty nice ride.

For the podcast's 2nd birthday, I went back over the last year of reviews and picked some favorite tracks. This one's got Boc Scadet, Dave Preston, Har, Helpling & Jenkins, Swartz, Igneous Flame, Apne Sinn, Darshan Ambient, Ann Licater, Hollan Holmes, Howard Ferre, Venona Pers and Bruno Sanfilippo.

Including new music from Sensitive Chaos, The Post Riot Era, Michael Sandler, Arcticology & more.

Don't be afraid; this one may start out a little aggressive and it does wander into experimental spaces a bit, but after a short set of that things quiet down and even pick up a beat or two. New music is nicely represented and an old fave makes a much-awaited comeback. Enjoy.

Featuring Olekranon, Dolmen, Pang, Parhelion, Joe Frawley, John Broaddus, Broken Harbour, Uwe Gronau, Cyberchump & Janzyk,
Drifting in Silence, Jeffrey Koepper and Lethsomn.

My pleasure, Forest.

And I just realized...I've been lax in posting updates here! Uh...Podcasts! More of 'em!

Quite a bit of new music in this one. Resonant Drift, Ambient Fabric, Synoiz, Connie St. Pierre, Mikronesia, Petal & more.

I let my iTunes decide what you'd hear. It picked things like Tim Story, Lopside, Wharmton Rise, Integral, Stephen Phillips, Altus, Canartic and more.

Ashley + Story, Giles Reaves, Brokenkites, Igneous Flame, Hollan Homles & more.

Everything and Nothing / Re: Top concept albums of all time

I would be denying my youthful obscure rock heritage if I didn't try to at least get passing honorable mention for "Violation" by Starz.  High concept? No. Concept? Sure.

Right onto the iPod for today's work-listen. Thank you!

Ready to get a little tribal/primal? Groove with your own bad animal self? Break out the drums and shakers. Podcast 45 is here. Metcalf, Kettering, Licater, Roach, Pound, Arrocata & more. An uninterrupted flow.

Here's the line-up I went with for tonight and tomorrow (well, obviously, not all of it will be consumed by then)  ::)

I didn't know Dry Creek was still around. The Fume Blanc was always a favorite.
