Quite different from your previous works :) And I actually like it. Got hooked since the first minute, so well done, sir. Reminds me Palancar. Love it, deep, mellow and dreamy sounds.

Just randomly visited EM today and saw her picture and a date. Couldn't quite believe at first. I didn't know she was ill. Really great ambient composer, I liked her music since the first album I downloaded from EM few years ago, I think. Blissful, light ambient.

Thank you for a comment on archive :) Appreciate very much.

Yesterday I released my third album titled "Sublime" under Creative Commons license. Spend more time on improving sound quality than always, though, it is still an amateur computer music. Anyway, this year has been very productive to me and it is not the end yet and I am working on new material. (FLAC/WAV/VBR/Ogg) (320k/FLAC/VBR V0/AAC/Ogg/ALAC) (256k)

Yeah, listened to the samples on Amazon and I can agree with your opinion so far... Those technoids are so not "brianish"..  ??? but have to add, those ambient tracks are really cool.. reminds me Music for Films and Apollo..

Really nice videos, thanks for sharing. Your music is superb.

I don't mean to be harsh, but I can't believe anybody expects to find anything positive on Myspace any more.  In my opinion it's been years now since it was anything more than a vast wasteland of advertisement and self-promotion bordering on the grotesque.  It makes my eyes hurt just to think about looking at MySpace.

In 2-3 years people will say the same thing about Facebook.

haha and I kinda agree with you. Although I prefer MySpace to Facebook, because it is more shiny and has more tweaking abilities and well, it looks more like a homepage, if you know what I mean... Talking about ads, I use adblock, so I don't see almost no ads in a web, unless it is "agressive" pop-ups which is hard to avoid not losing the functionality at the same time.

Facebook is very dull, in my opinion (maybe they will improve this in future  ;D ), also I think that majority of people (artists and listeners) still prefer linking to myspace artist profiles, it's like an old tradition so to speak. Maybe I am wrong on this one, but then again, if I had my own personal page, I wouldn't use MySpace as "homepage".

p.s. for some reason, after this MySpace upgrade I can't view my own blog posts when I click "more"... still many bugs but my opinion a little bit changed..

This is madness. So many bugs... Somehow I managed to create quite decent page with built-in layouts. But still, even this new thing looks shinier, I prefered the older, because it was more minimalistic design.
I create new HTML module. Insert code etc. Click save, publish. Refresh profile.. it disappears...after few minutes appears and then again disappears. Wtf.

Well, it was supposed to be a rant topic. Discuss  ;D

Artists create for their own pleasure...  ;)

Yeah, I was using Reason for almost 3 years now, and got used to its sequencer, had my own habbits while working in it etc, now it's hard this transition to other software, lol  ;D

Oh, both albums were made in Reason 4, so I used only its integrated VSTs, couldn't use plugins, but recently I started learning how to use Ableton Live (though its sequencer very messy), so I think will switch it someday and leave Reason  ;D

Finally I released my new (second) album into the internet  :D
I used only VST's, as always.

The Belt of Orion 6:37
Crystal Spheres 4:12
Maia Nebula 12:37
Approaching the Heliopause 5:31
Millions of Stars 5:14
Pale Blue Dot 6:12
An Ocean of Galaxies 8:21
Infinite Void 6:33
The Edge of Forever 4:05

(length 59:22)

Art and Literature, Movies and TV / Re: Alien prequel
« on: May 05, 2010, 06:13:38 PM »
whyyyyyyyyy :( first Alien was very good intro. Why prequels? I am almost sure, that it will be same old action sci-fi as in Alien 2 or 3. Or at least I can't imagine what more interesting can they put into the prequel. Alien babies? Or history how evolved their race? Doubt it.  ???

Reading this thread and laughing at the same time :D so true. That's why I almost never read press releases, or just read the title so I can check the sample in YouTube or else, to know what music it is. Sometimes I read it AFTER I listened to the album.  ;D

Everything and Nothing / Re: Really strange Facebook stuff (maybe!)

it took quite some time for me to understand how to hide all possible information I don't want anybody (except my friends) to see. In my humble opinion, if you want complete privacy - do not use internet. It's a public place and much more than that, actually. So I share my private information carefuly but not paranoically, because I wouldn't use facebook at all.

Be waiting for number 1  :D (maybe, because I myself work only with virtual synths). Love your music.

Music Gearheads Tech Talk / Re: Free speech samples

Yeah, thanks, Altus, that's what I needed. I knew this NASA site long time ago but couldn't find any downloadable stuff (dumb me), or maybe entered wrong keywords. They had many broadcasts, like interviews etc and they were not useful to me. ;D So I decided that there were no samples.

Thanks to others too :)

I rarely use samples, but I think some will be good for my one or two tracks that I'm making now for my next album. And I know it's very overused in electronic music community, so will try to keep it at minimum and as unnoticeable as possible :D

Music Gearheads Tech Talk / Free speech samples
« on: April 20, 2010, 10:14:55 AM »
Does anyone know were to get free speech samples, like from apollo, NASA, other speeches about space/astronomy, even random movies one-liners etc.
I know there was BBC library CD's, but nothing interesting there (to my opinion). Also I had Great World Speeches (or something like that), also not very useful to me, used only one or two speeches.

By the way, I am not interested in acapellas  :D Prefer one-liners, or just some spoken sentences.

Also there is a way to pirate a movie from the internet and then convert video to audio, cut desireble speech with audacity etc... but it takes too much efforts and time.
