Hi Bill,

I can only agree with the former comments on the W & W-issue; back then, it was great to correspond with you about EM and new names, and it was a pleasure to do the David Parsons feature as my 2 cents for the quality mag.; years later, we gave out very best in producing E-Dition magazine over here, but it proved not viable in the end (although it was lots of fun and hard work getting it done time and time again)

and here's mine (which I posted a short while ago on my site):
(I think you missed this one although I sent it to you by e-mail when it went online)

received this from Thom Brennan yesterday:

"unfortunately nothing new completed yet.
I haven't been very focused on it recently but I'm still working on it slowly"

Hello all,

The last half year I've been busy writing an informative feature on legendary '70's French synthesist Zanov;
the latter has surfaced recently after 30 years of absence,  presenting his new self-released, factory-pressed cd "Virtual Future".

To read the Zanov feature, feel free to visit

This is unfortunate to hear;
as already remarked by others, he was an accomplished musician and in the years I kept regular contact with him he more than once told he could be out of touch for a while as he didn't like computers and therefor also wouldn't check any e-mail messages. So instead, we had some nice phone calls. It was in fact Mr Craig who introduced Ruben to me, to check him and his music out, which I did and wasn't the least disappointed;
Barry also help me out on reconnecting with Ruben when those periods of silence became longer; I remember Ruben as a nice, open and honest person who shared the same passion for music as did his friends Barry, Harold etc. He eventually send me about all of his privately released cds, I reviewed them all for KLEM EM fanzine, later E-dition magazine and they're also up on my current website. I for one think his emotive, if not intelligent music deserved much more attention, on which I hopefully contributed a bit by spreading the word through my writings and talks with others.

Cherio my friend, may you rest in peace in Heaven.

Yes thanks Bert for the review, and thanks for all the nice comments from everyone, it is appreciated very much.

Sound clips are up at all the usual locations now. Also, I just made a longer excerpt for those who need more then 30 seconds to make up your mind about a release. You can listen to it here or on my soundcloud account. Its about 9 minutes in length and contains sections from all four tracks. I hope you enjoy it.

You're welcome, Loren!
