Steve Roach - Spiral Revelation

Just found out it's nominated for a Grammy award in the New Age category (!)

I checked the results and he didn't win. Still nice to be nominated, I guess.

hakobune - Heath Grass

Still one of his best albums IMO.

sokpd avabodha - progulka

I wish the Russian ambient scene got more attention. So much great ambient music coming out of there nowadays.

Another great up and coming ambient artist from Russia. Love the minimalism here.

If you have time, you should also check out Rapid Eye Movement. It's another great album of his and it's pretty similar stylistically.

Gallery Six - Snow Light
Absolutely beautiful ambient on ARCHIVES. Subtle hints of glitch and field recordings, mixed in with drifting electronics: Some of my favorite things.

Experiments in Silence - Escape to the Skyline
New release from Neil Butler on ...txt. This is a great release: The perfect bridge between modern ambient and 90s/00s-style Fax ambient.

Forrest Fang - Scenes From a Ghost Train

Another stunning album from Forrest. He really is on a roll with high quality, beautiful, ambient soundscape albums. And album covers it has to be said, what superb artwork. This music has been on constant play for a couple of weeks now. Completely immersive.

New release from Taylor Deupree....Fallen

Possible his most ambient music in the original sense.....piano, some subtle sonic background and easy to forget that its playing or if you choose...total focused immersion.

Mick Chillage - Faxology

-waited a long time to check out his stuff due to the silly name and sheer amount of material. If any of his other albums are this good, I'll have to buy some of those also.

Circular Ruins - Birth of Tragedy

-slowly picking up backcatalog TCR releases, one of my favorite projects out there today

Klaus Wiese - Divine Orbit

-my first KW solo release. Waited awhile to try one of these due to the high prices on BC ($18-19 USD). I really like this one. Does anyone know if the KW reissues on this label are factory pressed CDs or CDRs? Seems there is conflicting info online.
