The Humble Bee- A Miscellany For The Quiet Hours; Wonderful music to wake up to. A mix of gentle piano, keyboard, synth loops, odd noises and crackle. Very warm and very charming.
The Fun Years- God Was Like, No. Very pleasant guitar and turntable drones, always morphing, but always moving at a calm, leisurely pace. These guys can do no wrong. I suggest that you buy all of their discs- they all follow the same formula, but they have enough differences to make them all worthwhile.
Also, in a fit of nostalgia, I listened to a hodge-podge of old Elvis Costello and Nick Lowe songs that I burned to CD.
