Ashera "Enviro" (Ashera) - one of the only discs I didn't own by Ashera, and it's one of his best...gorgeous, low impact ambience done with a small array of instrumentation but all the better for it.

CV313 "Live" (Echospace) - yep, there's no doubt the dubtechwhatever genre's kinda gotten beaten in to the dirt (need some new blood/ideas!) but there's something about its foggy density & narcotized atmosphere that is pretty much irresistible to me. Finally available 'domestically', though those with bigger wallets might want to spring for the Japanese issue w/extra disc.

Brecker Bros. "Heavy Metal Be-Bop" (Legacy) - fusion classic that still kicks...

Been also playing lately in my travels loads of Icehouse, early Steve Hillage, Miles' 80s live discs, Nik Bartsch's Ronin projects, and of course, the latest Periphery releases. ;)

The Darkness Within - Phobos. Great sonorous album. Listened to this while reading 2001 - it perfectly matched the mystery of the obelisk and the depths of space.

#2896
klaus wiese - mercurius (with Grassow), soma, space, tariqa, mystic landscapes, seed
(my Wiese faves.. i always enjoy going back into my collection, listening to older stuff that ocassionally comes up with new sonic surprises today..)

john beltran - ambient selections 1995-2011
(never really paid attention to Beltran before but nevertheless it's a most excellent comp. of his catalogue, full with 'ambient summer-vibes', can't stop listening to this, a current favorite for sure!)

a produce - land of 1000 trances, reflect like a mirror, respond like an echo
(had to play/buy this again :) after the well-received 'Intangible')

aidan baker - still life
(a very nice departure from his usual droney signature sound, cool deep jazzy vibes, quite thrilling to me!)

oophoi/faryus - forgotten rituals
(beautiful, quiet & mysterious drone-spaces, these outer-space atmospheres come close to the most excellent 'Celestial Geometries'..)

anticipating;

harold budd - in the mist (the MP3s sound beautiful!)
bvdub - i remember
bvdub - resistance is beautiful
celer - levitation & breaking points (re-issue)
simon fisher turner - the great white silence (on the way)
oophoi/seren ffordd - the martian chronicles

mathias grassow - sky (re-issue)
tobias hellkvist - everything is connected
talvihorros - descent into delta

a lot yes :)

Wow!

I've been listening to "Bless the Weather" all weekend!

I've had John Martyn music for years but somehow that one slipped by & when I heard "Let the Good Things Come" I had to get the whole album.  I was just blown away!  It's now my favorite Martyn album.  Favorite song is still "Small Hours" but "Bless the Weather" as a complete album is amazing.

also playing...
Tobacco - maniac meat - great electronic music from Tom Fec of Black Moth Super Rainbow.
Fanfarlo- Reservoir - excellent pop music with touches of Sufjan Stevens, Beirut & Efterklang.
NPR All Songs Considered podcast - I've been devouring these podcasts for the last few months.  I download them & listen during bike rides.  They are informative & fun.  Some have themes, "Summer Music Memories" & others just feature new music.  I've discovered some great music through these excellent podcasts.

Dave
I don't have Small Hours and will have to look it up.
Solid Air is another classic.
Also John and Beverley Martyn: Road To Ruin (love this album!)
