Agreed on Cyclic Law.  I'll be eagerly awaiting my copy of Gustaf Hildebrand's new "Heliopause."

Sonitus Echo-It is Loneliness That Makes the Loudest Noise CD (Silent Season) Dark ambient dub.  Good, although not as good as past releases on this quite excellent label.

Rapoon-Media Studies CD (Aquarelist).  The David Icke samples are cool.  Musically, this one follows the "new Rapoon sound" of the last years, which to me is not that interesting.  I really miss the beauty of the old stuff from the 90's.

today mainly the new stuff from Gterma & Celer;

parikrama - the silent bon
(better than i thought.. i think a perfect companion to Psychomanteum's Oneironaut (Cyclic), similar mood/spheres)

indo - winter in zangla
(still listening to get a proper impression, so far quite OK, thick droning with some processed gongs along the way..)

chubby wolf - on burnt, gauzed wings (from Ornitheology)
(not releasing this on CD-format would be 'very' serious ambient-crime!)

celer - honey moon
(excellent release once again! beautiful, intimate drone poetry..)

mathias grassow - alchemystery
(listening to it now, so far so gooood..)

now awaiting the new Alio Die's & Aglaia's, though Discogs has nice previews on them!

I realized just now that I have  a Köner album I've barely listened to. Problem must be fixed!

Hey Drone On, are the Wall demos worth the price of repurchasing the Wall again?

I'd have to say no.  Interesting, but pale in comparison to the final cut (pun intended)

A couple of sold-out Silent Season label discs I found for a comparatively reasonable price on Discogs:

Fatih Tuter-Wide & Shallow w/Remixes I
Axs-Arctic Circle

Both of 'em excellent.

Alexander Scriabin - Le Poeme de l'Extase

Scriabin - The Poem of Ecstasy

Quite simply my favorite piece of music in the last half year.

The Pink Floyd posts put me in a prog rock mood...

1) Phil Manzanera/801 - Listen Now
2) Mike Rutherford - Smallcreep's Day
3) David Gilmour - On an Island
4) Strawbs - Hero & Heroine

joachim nordwall - ignition
(don't read a thing about this, as it was a favorite of mine of last year, Boomkat put it nicely; butchness and bite, monkishly reserved ambience..)

Michael Stearns - Lyra
(exceptional release from Stearns, definitely far ahead of its time. i wish he did more things like this)

Indo - Winter in Zangla
(real cool droning, i've been playing this for 4 times on a row today!)

alio die & mariolina zitta - la sala dei cristalli
(starts realize this is good work, darker and grittier than Alio Die's recent output which is imo a good thing)

alio die - pure and deconsecrated
(the 1st 3 tracks are really excellent, the last 2 tracks got me a bit less..)

bvdub - serenity

conforce - machine conspiracy
(can't get enough of this, fantastic well-crafted dub-techno with a classic feel)

elodie - la lumiere parfumee
(beautiful release from Andrew Chalk, a bit more experimental at times but still quite touching..)

david monacchi - eco-acoustic compositions
(still need to spend more time with, as the title says processed fieldrecordings with sometimes a hidden drone or tone here and there..)

waiting for my arrival of a new Aidan Baker 2CD 'Loop Studies'
the bandcamp full streaming sounds very tasty to me !

Bvdub-Serenity (Darla).  I have to say this may be the best thing he's done to date.  The loops are smooth, expansive, beautiful and soothing, whereas as some of his work can be grating and repetitive (this was my reaction to the next one...)

Bvdub-The First Day (Home Normal) Very disappointing.  Sounds exactly like "Then" and "I Remember."  Tends to grate rather than calm.  Too bad, the packaging's really cool.

"Wandering" (Silent Season comp)- Very good ambient dub techno release of various artists.

Mr. Cloudy-"Light in my head" (Silent Season)- Dark dub techno in the vein of Atheus.  Very cool disc.

Ishq-Deep Space Objects (Virtual)-I thought the first track didn't fit the rest of the album at all, which is predominantly ethereal outer space themed ambient.  A couple tracks jumped out at me, but I need further time with it.

I just finished a new "sea" mix so I've been listening to music that has a "drifting on sea swells" feel to it.

Maps and Diagrams - Get Lost
Willamette - Always in Postscript
36 - Lithea
Loscil - Fromme
