Having just come back from a couple of weeks in Vancouver:

- Loscil: Sketches From New Brighton

and here is a mighty fine track from it:

Hey Anthony, the intro to that Loscil track sounded like you!  I initially thought the sample skipping midway through that track was a problem with my buffering.

Lately, I've been enjoying:
Boards of Canada - Tomorrow's Harvest (the CD, not the .wav file;)..)
Adam Pacione - Delayed Vols. 1 and 2 (glad to have finally tracked this down.  more keyboardy than I was expecting.  Whatever happened to his subscription series?)
House of Love - She Paints Words In Red

:)
I especially love that little sample-skipping lead in this piece.

ASC--Time Heals All 2cd (Silent Season). This sold out in about one day.  I placed my order about 30 seconds after it officially went on sale.  They actually had to add 50 more copies due to high demand.  It's pretty drifty ambient for a dub techno label.  Have to listen more for a final verdict.

This ASC release is awesome!  Much better on headphones than standard stereo.

Alio Die/Lingua Fungi--Otter Songs.  Excellent disc, dark and shadowy, perfect on headphones too.

Dr. Atmo/Oliver Lieb--Music to Films.  Finally got a copy of this rare Fax release.  Excellent cinematic ambient.

I'm eagerly (desperately) awaiting the new ASC release; I managed to get an order in after the additional 50 copies were announced.

Being on a budget, I've recently been exploring some inexpensive/free digital releases. A lot of stuff out there is kind of meh, but here are a couple of things that have stood out and will likely appeal to other forum members who are not morally and aesthetically opposed to non-physical releases.  ;)

Arpa - Llaves
An ambient release from Miguel Isaza. This is rich with Colombian field recordings and soft drone work, mostly synths and occasional wind instruments. I think this will appeal to folks who like the organic side of Robert Rich and ISHQ.

Stream or order physical disc here: http://ins-out.bandcamp.com/album/llaves

Docetism - Askesis
A lot of dub ambient/techno tends to blur together for me; it is often difficult to pick out one artist's track from another. Docetism, while recording in this tradition, has a unique sound. I don't know how to explain it in words (maybe something on the boarder between dub and the more atmospheric stuff by Gas), but I strongly recommend it.
Stream/Download here: http://nichts.bandcamp.com/album/askesis

Pleq / Hakobune - Sleepless
A relatively short track (about 20 minutes). Very subdued and drifting drone works. Despite the title, it is excellent sleepy time music.

Parhelion - Temples In Ice

Abiotha - Gates of Hell

Two outstanding dark ambient releases, and even more remarkable is that they are only 40 pence each.
Highly recommended 8)

ASC - Time Heals All (Silent Season, 2CD)
I have to agree with drone on that this is an awesome release; I have no doubt that this will be one of my favorites of 2013. Each track appears to be organized around a brief sample that is looped repeatedly, with various other sounds (some based on samples, field recordings, and others synthesized) that are heavily processed and layered on top. The result is something that feels organic and ethereal at the same time.

It reminds me a bit, both in its structure and its effect, of some of Marsen Jules' early work, in particular, Yara and (kind of) Lazy Sunday Funerals. Most of the things I've heard by ASC and his various monikers are more beat driven, so this is a pleasant surprise. Samples here: http://shop.silentseason.com/album/time-heals-all-sscd14

Yep, that Lanzarote Concert by Grassow is a great one if you're into quiet drone music.

Lately:

Bernd Kistenmacher- Let it Out (Mellowjet Records, Germany).  This is a beautiful longform track (40 min.) by Kistenmacher, one of my favorites of the "second coming" of Berlin school synthesists.  His return in the last several years to making music again is very welcome.  There is also a bonus track of about 20 min. that is very good as well.

Ulver - Kveldssanger

First listen to this album after a few years. It still moves me a lot.

There's nothing more exciting than rediscovering a CD that's been in your collection for at least a decade but hasn't been played for years.

The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
Deep ambient synth washes. Occasional dub influences. Great music for going to sleep and relaxing.  ;)

Meg Bowles - The Shimmering Land
Nothing unusual here. Good, solid ambient. It is easy to drift away listening to this. Samples here: http://www.megbowlesmusic.com/

Porn Sword Tobaco - ST
Swod - Gehen
Marsen Jules - Herbstlaub
The Remote Viewer - You're Going To Love Our Defeatist Attitude

36 - Shadow Play
This didn't really grab me at first. I left it on repeat one day, however, and it really started to grow on me. It is much simpler in structure than some of the other 36 releases, but with great melodies and a nice retro feel.
Samples: http://3six.bandcamp.com/album/shadow-play

Marco Madia - Music for Plants
Fantastic music from the Dewtone label. Reminds me a bit of some of Segue's work combined with Sonmi451.
