Volcano Choir - Repave - The new project from Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, very nice.
Marco Madia - Music For Plants - pretty straight forward ambient.
Washed Out - Paracosm - nice indie dream pop.
Paris DJs Soundsystem - rise of the troubadour warriors - tropical grooves & afrofunk international vol.3 -  excellent afro-funk/jazz

Any classical music fans (still) here?  Between a backlog of stuff I picked up from Amoeba, I've started making some headway into a monster 60 CD box set featuring RCA's "Living Stereo" recordings from late 50s and early 60s (including a generous dose of Heifetz, along with Rubinstein, Van Cliburn, and other biggies of that era).  Mostly core repertoire from that era, but done especially well.  The sound is really spectacular, especially when cranked up!

Nunc Stans - We Leave without Speaking + Peninsula
Excellent recordings from the talented, prolific, and versatile APK. Both of these releases contain a nice mixture of electronic ambiance, isolationist atmospheres, and subtle yet unobtrusive experimentation. Of the two discs, I have a preference for Peninsula. The title track is particularly incredible with headphones.

Blood Box - Funeral in an Empty Room, totally awesome.

Psychomanteum - Oneironaut, another dark ambient gem and stunning artwork by Kati Astraeir

A very nice addition to the wave of tributes to Oophoi, from Seren Ffordd, thanks Andy.

Klaus Wiese  ‎–  Zen Room / Positive Zero - 2011 (Very unusual Klaus Wiese work and his last) Fell in love with it from  the first notes.
Closing The Eternity & Mathias Grassow  ‎–  No Title - 2013 ( Ocean of pleasure)
Closing The Eternity  ‎–  Northern Nights Ambience - 2012 ( Most cold CTE album)
Closing The Eternity  ‎–  Kosmodrones - 2011  (Early work) Fantastic drone!
Closing The Eternity  ‎–  Noughtwards - 2009 (One of my favorite CTE album)
Velehentor  ‎–  Ceremonial Death - 2011 (Vinyl, 7")

A very strong batch of dronescapes, Andrey!!! I am now waiting for the collector's edition of "Superstring Paradigma" by Closing The Eternity, really looking forward to it as I missed the original 4 x mini CDr edition by Fight Muzik. Did you get it already?

A few words from 121 about new release.

Quote
Superstring Paradigma is still in production, and to be finished in about 10 days… or even more - dunno exactly. Anyway, afaik, limited edition with special inserts is sold out already, therefore only regular print-run is still available now. I bet less than 60 copies are left for sale.

Thanks a lot, Andrey, for your & 121's updates. During yesterday I also got a message from Infinite Fog about some delays regarding this special edition. Anyway, I will wait patiently.

Thanks!

Np:  The Sight Below--Glider (Ghostly International). If Jeff Pearce went ambient dub techno, it might sound like this.  Dub techno beats but instead of echoed dub tactic effects there is Atmo guitar clouds a la Pearce.  Highly recommend this one to all here...

Letna - Adria
Letna - White City

Interesting stuff. Adria is an album containing minimally processed guitar with subtle clicks and pops. If someone had told me it was a Deupree/Scott/Fischer collaboration, I would have fallen for it. Organic and lovely. Highly recommended. Samples here: http://shop.semlabel.com/album/adria

White City also has a similar minimalist, glitchy atmosphere, but is more obviously electronic in its perspective.  Samples and free/legit download here: http://www.archive.org/download/http://archive.org/details/Eko007-letna-whiteCity

Good, I love gloomy!  I bought it on the strength of a track from the album on YouTube.  I also received Closing the Eternity cd Noughtwards yesterday, a wonderfully dark cosmic floater.  Have just ordered another CTE album, Nearby Being.  And if anyone hasn't ordered CTE & Mathias Grassow cd yet, you should ASAP!  Wonderfully lush organic dronescapes, and my #1 cd of 2013 so far.  My copy came with a very limited bonus 3" CDR, an exquisite track.
