meditative, beautiful, sublime

Lovely stuff, indeed, Jana. Thanks for the new discovery.

Nice tip on Foghorn / The Afterglow. That was pretty neat.

Oophoi - Athlit +
Oophoi & Tau Ceti - Subterranea

Some of my favorite Oophoi releases.  It is weird to think of these as old, but I guess they are now.

Listening to a track from the album series called Throne of Drones from 20 years ago.  Asphodel is the defunt label.  I think the track I'm listening to is either Jeff Greinke, Robert Rich or Mick Harris.  Sadly, this album was sold and digitized before I cared about labeling tracks and artists.  It's very deep bass and droney.  It happened during the ephemeral Isolationist genre of dark experimental ambient.  Still sounds good today...

Aidan Baker - Periodic

I really like Baker's earlier ambient albums. They get overshadowed by Nadja but he almost always got a lot out of his guitar. Albums like this, Letters, and Field Of Drones are all great.

What’s the track length?  I have all those “... of Drones” disks and can probably ID it for you.

Gigi Masin - KITE

Great stuff. Haven't listened to much of Gigi Masin's work in the past but I might have to deep deeper in the future.

cv313 - analogue oceans
A recent release from Steven Hitchell of Echospace. Beautiful dubby ambience. The third track is a real treat. For me, at least, it is an auditory illusion: Depending on which set of rhythmic pulses I attend to, I hear one song or a completely different one. Fascinating. The fourth track (the second disc) is super chill and worthy of all-day repeat listening.

Robert Rich - Sleep Concert at Gray Area
A digital-only release of a Bay Area sleep concert from Feb 2018. This is fantastic. The "middle section" is an amazing tapestry of drones with a rich assortment of insect-like samples. The frequencies tickle my ears--in good ways.

Reminds me to Thomas Brinkmann's Concept Remixes that is more minimalistic.

Let's face it people, you can't just listen to gentle, soothing and pretty (ambient) music all the time.

There comes a time when you must balance it out with something loud and noisy.
This piece right here. It will fix everything and restore balance to the force. ;D
After this, you can listen to ambient music for many years to come....  8)

I recommend headphones, but you might want to adjust volume while listening.

This is now one of my favorite Celer releases. It stands out even in Celer's massive and ever-growing discography.
