Alesis Andromeda A6
« on: August 31, 2008, 05:36:23 AM »
Anyone know what the availabilty on these are?  I hear they've been discontinued a few times.  I've started hunting for a new synth, and I've got my sights on this sucker.  Better still, anyone here have one?

Jesse (Numina) I think has one. They weren't discontinued just out of production until parts where available. I have to say I've tried one a few times and it never jived with me.
Take care.

I've recently bought a used one and really like it. It's a mighty complex beast and has great range and the ribbon is extremely nice for performance modulations

Dave Fulton has an Andromeda, one of the earliest ones, and it appears prominently on our album Imprint.

I just got word from Alesis that they will be getting more Andromedas at the end of the year.  Fingers crossed.
