I saw the thread title and had an image of wearing clothes that related in the same way as ambient music relates to 'average or normal' music........ ;D

no fixed form, amorphous, drifty, foggy, experimental. It would be  like wearing a cloud, a planet turning, an ominous cave.....

Underpants like the magnificent void, Trousers like a flock of butterflies descending in a zen garden, Shirts like the insane brightness etc etc etc.....

I think it's a great idea, and as long as we don't get arrested we should go for it whole heartedly... ;D

But I think I need to make the text just a shade lighter. :-)

You need to be logged in to view that.

So you can make your own prints on that site ?
What does it cost ?

Would be cool to print out something like this on a black long sleeve shirt :)

or a green-blue longsleeve with the "New Life Dreaming" print

Where was the New Life Dreaming cover photographed?  It reminded me
of the southern edge to the Racetrack Playa in Death Valley looking west.

i think so :)

I was there descending Cima Brocan, Alpi Marittime, in Italy;
here the non-trivial transverse (45/55 slope)... (I'm third person from the left):

where (what mountain) you where with skyies ?

That was Mt. Hood, Oregon, on July 1st 2008.  I met some friends there for a weekend of skinning and skiing; I'm not into climbing, unless I have skis with me for the descent.    :)

I like to skin up, so I can enjoy this:

That would be a faster descent on skis...  ;)  Seriously, that looks like a perfect pitch for some jump-turns; probably a bit icy, though.  What's below you?  A safe slide, or a 'Plunge of Doom'?   :o  I would feel totally safe on skis, but in crampons, I'd want to be roped...

You are in an alpinist's paradise; get to the Dolomites much?  Ever bring skis?

If you ever make it to the Washington State area, let me know, and we'll collaborate on an "ambient climb"!    ;D

Well, the adventure pics are worthwhile but yes... create a new thread, and if you do so, I can move those posts into the new topic.

That ice traverse picture scares the crap out of me, BTW.
