They sure are small and inexpensive.
I've not seen/touched one yet. Hopefully they are not too plastic.
I guess the NanoControl would be pretty handy for a mobile laptop setup.
I also use a Behringer controller (BCR2000), and it has a lot more knobs, but also a lot more preset memory. And its build solidity is good.
NanoControl seems to only have 4 presets/scenes, which could be a drawback. Though maybe you can quickly send other 'scenes' to it from the software.
