Hello. Many of you already know about me, I'm Jesse S., AKA Numina, an artist on the world reknowned Hypnos label.
I'm married to my wife, Kirsten, for 5 years now. By day I'm a civil engineer and my wife is a 3rd & 4th grade teacher. I'm 38 y.o. (in March) and have no kids.
We live in suburban Denver, Colorado (where all the houses look the same) and enjoy it here, mostly, except we long for the vast views of the coastal western US.
My wife and mine's favorite vacation spot (so far) is Pismo Beach, CA and we stay at an incredibly affordable motel called the Kon Tiki Inn. Not very glamorous for those of you who are blessed with the money and time to travel, but we like it nonetheless. We are going to Paris at the end of March which will be my first time in Europe - a free trip!
I see Mr. Brett Smith has posted here - it's nice to see you here Brett! Some of you may recall our collaboration, "Inside the Hollow Realm".
I like inclement weather, science fiction, real science, and reality TV. Guilty pleasures include reality TV shows like COPS, Dog the Bounty Hunter (which is on right now), America's Dumbest Criminals, and old Start Trek, Twilight Zone and Three's Company... and music like Duran Duran and Brittany Spears (OK, kidding about Brittney). Foodwise, I like Indian, very saucy pizza, good coffee, and cheesecake ice cream.
I'm an aries, but not much of a leader as the the sign is supposed to be indicative of. I'm sort of a loner, but outgoing at the same time. Cheerful yet pessimistic... I feel like I'm entering information for a dating service...
I don't like war, being in pain, Rush Limbaugh, being broke, republicanism, mean people, working overtime, the corporate lifestyle, fake people, being hungover, riots, overly sporty people (i.e. jocks or cheerleaders), tooth aches, split pea soup, country music, guns, or religious leaders who gay bash yet have homosexual affairs (see ted Haggard).
I'm pretty much an open book, for the most part, so ask questions if you want more juicy details on me... although I'm sure that Judd Stephens could spill all sort of beans on me since he and his lovely wife have been living with us for the past week! I keep telling him to post something to this Forum to convince people I'm not crazy... he hasn't yet... perhaps not a good sign.
As for my opinion on Judd, he is a very nice fellow with a gentle soul and it's been nice to meet him. As of yesterday he and his wife have found a place to live here in the Denver area.
I just burned the frozen pizza I had in the oven while I typed this up... will be very a crispy dinner for myself.
