Oh, I've been missing this thread!
Please let me introduce myself again here.

Hello everyone,

First of all, I'm honored to be a member of this great forum. I'm an ambient musician from Sendai, Japan. I've released eight albums since 2007. Full previews of all released tracks are available on my official website. Please stop by.

Though my small studio and its instruments were damaged by the earthquake, I've recently started the recording for a new album. I'm going to introduce it to you around this summer.

Sincerely,

Juta Takahashi

Hi there

I'm Jerome Disney, 50, currently living and working in Ireland but originally from Cape Town, South Africa. Played guitar with informal folk groups for many years. Gave it all up until about 8 years ago when I decided to have a stab at making some instrumental music. Ambient music only forms a small part of the works of which there are 4 in progress. Will be releasing a collection of tracks next year sometime. Probably won't sell much but that does not really matter as I like the creative aspect of composing. Have a variety of influences from folk to electronica and everything else inbetween as well. Main instrument is the guitar but I dabble with others as well. Started out as a drummer many moons ago. Looking forward to seeing who's who in the zoo.

Thx Seren - been to Wales a couple of times. The nicest part of England in my opinion. Do you have any material of your own that I can listen to? Just trying to get a feel of what everybody here likes.

Welcome Jerome,

Living just across the water from you in Canada.  ;)
Only a second away on the net.

Best of luck with your ambient side... and what the heck, the rest too.  :)

Cheers,

Welcome, Jerome!  I live just across the water.... oh - we've been through that already.  :-)

Welcome and the music around here while primarily ambient in nature - most people like a lot of kinds of music.

Hi, I've stumbled across this forum. I'm from New Zealand and I used to make a living as a Hypnotherapist in the UK...recession.. ah well. Anyway, when I was doing the hypnosis, I used some really smart ambient, hypnotic music that seemed to get people down into deep relaxation quickly. I'm a fan!

I operate a website called http://www.howtobehealthy.co.nz which has a really cool book that advertises on it. It's called Read Away Body Fat...Instant Weight Loss Hypnosis in a book. I bought it from Booklocker.com as an ebook: http://www.booklocker.com/books/4457.html and I lost weight! The book took me about 3 hours to read but wow...what a transformation! I believe the author has done a CD but I can't find it.
