I was just sorting through a directory of pictures that have appeared in this Forum, kind of a fun trip down memory lane.  I'll probably post a few of those here for fun...

First off, I found the pictures related to the Gathering performance with Dave Fulton and Jeff Pearce, in Philadelphia in 2000.

(L to R) Stephen Philips, Jeff Kowal, Dave Fulton, me, Jim Brenholts, Jeff Pearce

Before the show... me, Chuck VanZyl, Dave Fulton

After the Gathering, in WXPN studios, live on the air performance for Star's End -- do I look like I've been awake for almost 24 hours?  Imagine, waking up to Jeff Pearce dancing around in his underwear in Chuck's living room before sunrise, then running all around Philly all day, then setting up in the St. Mary's church, then playing the Gathering show, then hauling everything over to WXPN and up the stairs to the studio, setting up, and then performing live at 2 AM or something.

That was nine years ago?!  Jesus!  It was a great show.

Glad this got bumped back up - I think I somehow missed it first go round!

That first shot is a great one.   Fun to see what each of you look like (well, at least 9 years ago!)

It really is strange to think that was so long ago.  It was pre-9/11 for one thing, and I, like others in the pic I'm sure, had some major life changes ahead of me.

On the other hand, I still have the black sweater from the first pic, the Hypnos t-shirt, jeans and Doc Martens from the second pic, and the Oregon Ducks sweatshirt and Sony headphones and Mackie 1202 mixer from the third pic.  No longer have that iBook laptop, though.

Last time I saw Dave Fulton he looked pretty much exactly the same as in these pictures, too.

I haven't been back to Philly again since that trip, either, though since that time I've always intended to go back again "soon."

You're right about the date.  Not sure where I got 2000 from, but I know the concert was also the CD release party for both Bleed and Imprint, which my own records show were released in the last half of 2002.

I guess when you get old time and dates just seem to mush together.

I was thinking it must have been a heck of a party!

I've been doing a lot of 'bumping' of old topics today.

Upon rediscovering this one, for a minute I felt bad about teasing Brenholts and that picture of him, but then I remembered he loved that kind of stuff.  So, I bumped it as much for the Brenholts teasing as despite it.
