Hypnos store problem

Anyone else having a problem ordering from Hypnos store? I keep getting "internal server error," and I've tried ordering on three different computers, with the same result.

Actually it wasn't just yesterday, has been ongoing for the last week or so, on different days and times.  ???

I think there may be a configuration problem with the mysql database underlying the Hypnos store.

I need to do a full backup of all our data (items, customers, categories and so on), uninstall the shopping cart software, upgrade the mysql version, then reinstall the shopping cart software, apply all shopping cart version updates, import all the backed-up data, and then re-insert all the modifications (logos, front page "Hypnos Recommends" messages and so on).

This is a big job and I'm not going to start it this evening.  In the mean time, the store seems to be "touchy" as far as displaying errors here and there, but it's still secure and orders are still coming through, so it's fine to use it if you want to order something.

I'm doing these updates today, so don't be surprised if the store is offline much of mid-Wednesday.  I'm more than half done already, though, so it may not take too much longer.

There have been ongoing database problems, and I've had to upgrade and uninstall and try again and uninstall again, several times.  Now I have the help of the domain hosting company that hosts hypnos.com and we'll see if they can figure it out.

Good old mySQL.  The good news is, the newer mySQL version has allowed me to upgrade the Hypnos Forum software to the newest version (not that it looks any different to me).

Stay tuned -- the store should be working again tomorrow (Thursday) at the latest.

The store has been rebuilt and fully upgraded, the customers, categories and products have been restored, and now I'm just applying the cosmetic modifications to make the store look the way it did before.  Everything's fully functional for order placement now.

Those of you who wanted to order this past few days but couldn't, I thank you for your patience.
