I just wanted to let everyone know that our own Jim Brenholts (Rigel Orionis) is in the hospital and had a mild heart attack last week. ................

thanks all for the kind words.
i wish it had been a mild heart attack. it was a major one! i was on the cath table and the doc had just placed a stent and - bang - my blood flow stopped and my heart rate and bp dropped to 40! all hell broke loose and everyone was rushing around in panic mode and i was in excruciating pain. i was code blue (crash) for 30 seconds. i was one scared guy!
i am on cumadin protocol and go back in 2 weeks for re-assessment.
all the best and God bless

Hang in there, Jim. Rest up and get well. Sorry you had to go through such a scary time. Take comfort in knowing all of these fine people are pulling for you.

Great news, Jim.  Glad you made it back from the Land of Code Blue.

Everyone step up to the bar.  I'll pay for a round of Crestor and aspirin.

Wow!   Jim - glad to see you're back and posting to the forum!   The ambient internet wouldn't be the same without you!   Hope recovery is speedy and no further complications.

All the best and thinking of you.
