I picked this up a little over a week ago from the Hypnos store and am really enjoying it. The Hypnos site describes it as "hypnotic and dreamy, with a touch of the surreal". I think that is a very accurate description. I especially like trying to figure out what each of the sounds are by looking at the list of instruments used. I'm having a hard time getting this one out of the cd player right now. Highly recommended. Harry D

Glad you guys are enjoying it. I'm a big supporter of this artist and we're discussing the possibility of future releases (in addition to his appearance on Sounds of the Universe Overheard already released, and Vapors and Magnetism upcoming).

i agree! this is an awesome disc! the deep textures and atmospheres strike all the right chords. nice stuff!

glad you are enjoying the music and trying to work out what is what in the sound mix. Veils, Shadows was not intended to be non synth based when I started it, but once it got going I just loved exploring the other sound sources, seeing how much I could shift and twist it towards the final result without it becoming abrasive or washed out....
