Yes - Jim liked the joking and ribbing - I'm sure he's smiling you bumped the topic.  I'm also sure his new 'room' is filled to the brim with cd's and instruments.

Here - I'll poke fun at myself a bit...  I think I posted these a long, long time ago (in a Hypnos forum far far away...).

These are from about 1989/1990 - that's me playing bass, John S-H (better known as Vir Unis these days) playing keys.   He's playing two Korg DSS-1 synths... one is mine, the other is probably his at this point.   He bought it from Matt McDonough (which ironically - that's the same Matt and John and me that owned AtmoWorks last year...).

My cousin Brad is playing guitar - and singer is Mike Smith.   No drummer at this point - we had a Roland R8 keeping time for us.

Let none dispute that clothing and hairstyles in the eighties were just BETTER than at any other time in history.

In that second picture you look a bit like Dave Tollefson when I first met him in 84 or so.  He was a bass player back then, too, before realizing he could up his sex appeal a few notches by learning guitar.  Ummm, which is not to say females are persuaded by superficial things like that.

I loved that shirt.   ;-)

Admittedly - I normally wore my hair in a ponytail for "everyday".   I let it grow another year-ish before I chopped it off and left one braid.

Just for Lena, here's a shot of me from '88 or '89 give or take - my lead singer had done up my hair nice and big for a gig.

This shot is from Oct 31, 1991... notice the braid... and yes, I'm flipping everyone off and biting my lip at the same time.   A talent?

Speaking of cool hair, and old Hypnos Forum pix, there's this.

There is some debate as to whether Mr. Pearce's hair is actually in the style popularly referred-to as "a mullet" or maybe it's just some kind of shadow falling on his shoulder.  Well, there's no actual debate, but this is the kind of story Mr. Pearce likes to throw out there to distract people from the actual mullet.
