Somehow, I've missed the cool things in this thread. That seems to be happening a lot lately. Anyway, love Gottwood mix. Downloading it now. I think I could listen to an 8-hour mix of this.
I was just in my office and I heard a ruckus.

Glad your enjoying it. The original idea was for 8 hours or longer - I had other sounds recorded and was going to mix them very slowly over each other.

If anyone can tell us what some of the sounds in the first part are they will get a big smile......

New music available on soundcloud - http://www.soundcloud.com/seren-ffordd - .wav file.

Halo: Umbra - Penumbra.
Halo was a work in progress when Gigi (Oophoi) sadly passed away.
Numerous artists have since released music dedicated to him and this is my addition to the wave of remembrancing to the significance that he holds in both ambient music and the hearts of those inspired by him in many ways.
Similar to others experience of his friendship, Gigi encouraged and supported my music and creativity.
Halo represents the light that surrounds each of us and itís.
Halo was created almost entirely with recording the sound of a wine glass in various ways and then transforming the sound with effects and processes.

Please feel free to download and burn to disc - artwork for jewel cases in next posts:

Thank you for posting this!

I'm a big fan of Gigi the artist and the person, very excited to hear this.

Also, I recently picked up Stellar Nurseries during the Hypnos sale.  It was the first record of yours that I had heard and was really impressed with the engineering and the composition.  Some of the most textured, powerful and controlled low-frequency I've ever heard.

Thanks for the compliments on Stellar Nurseries - sometimes I look back on the early releases and wonder about them - are they any good?, would I do it like that again? - so your comments are good to hear.

Glad you enjoyed Halo too.

I downloaded this recently and am really enjoying it. I prefer the final mix version although the quiet version is nice also. Great job, Andy!
