Who can help ?
« on: February 09, 2010, 11:28:56 AM »
Ive played a DJ-Set some years ago in a radio station - unfortunately i dont have a playlist.

Im trying to find out 2 tracks ive played there but my Vinyl collection is too huge to narrow down these tracks.....as you will hear on some positions (clicks/scratches) the format is Vinyl and i dont know if its released as CD too.

Maybe someone can help ? Here is the MP3:

http://www.el-culto.eu/english/downloads/tw.radio.unity.mp3

But be prepared and warned  ;D - this is not Ambient

Cheers,
Tomas

Well... I'm quite sure I know it, but no idea what it is right now. Maybe I'll find it later...

You're welcome  :)
I'm afraid I'm quite sure that I don't know the second track...

Just curious...how you could know this ? I mean this label is really something for specialists and people "who know" !!!

and people "who know" !!!
apparently I knew  ;)

Well I remember music quite well - not titles or artists but the music itself - so I was quite sure I knew that piece (and that's why I'm also quite sure I don't know the second one :( ). All I had to do was find the artist/title.
I had a short clue I had also heard that track in a mix CD. Given your time parameter (<=2004) and actually having some idea, I checked Nick Warren's 'Global Underground' mix CD series and here it was - track 3 on Nick Warren - Global Underground #024: Reykjavik, CD1.

That's all. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but my magic crystal ball is currently in repair (seems to be a hardware problem because I can't get a clear image...)  ;)

PS: Is there any option to download your DJ-set? I'd enjoy to hear more of it...

Oh i didnt know it was on a GU compilation...though i have not the complete series....

I also remember music quite well just by "sound" (not in this case...hahahaha) or by cover-layouts
