"Lost" dreams
« on: May 09, 2010, 09:55:50 AM »
Has this happened to anyone else.  It's not the first time.  When I read Salmon Rushdie's "The Satanic Versus", I had weird dreams.  One that I can remember was a guy being stoned to death by an angry mob outside a movie theater.

Last week, three days in a row, I had dreams that people were shooting at me, and two of the nights, I shot back and killed someone.  The weird thing was that at the end of the dreams, someone acknowledged what I had done, as if I had passed some type of test.

Last night, we watched 5 episodes!  Sick, right?  We're at the end of season three, tonight will be the two part "Through the Looking Glass" episode.  Anyway, I had this dream that I found a dog.  Normal dream for me, but it wasn't an ordinary dog.  It was a German Shepard, really big, like 150 pound, twice the size of my dog Ringo.  The really weird part was that he had no eyes.  It was like they had always been and were permanently closed.

Ha, weird dog dream!

I've had 5 or 6 dreams about Hurley since this last season started. Actually, it's usually Jorge Garcia, not his character, and Mike & I are hanging out with him and his girlfriend in different places, (their house, a restaurant, one of the Lost sets, etc. In the last one, we were all shopping for dinner stuff in some huge, upscale grocery store together.)  ;D

I think this is happening because I visit both his and his girlfriend's blogs regularly, (Dispatches from the Island & Hallelujah to the Hoot.) It's pretty bizarre, though, dreaming about him of all people on a regular basis...  ???

When I die, I'm leaving my body to science fiction.

I think Lena has those dreams because I bear a strong physical resemblance to Hurley.
