August 2010 issue of Electroambient Space - and announcement
« on: August 22, 2010, 08:46:10 PM »
Hi all,

An announcement from Electroambient Space,

First, there is a new August issue posted, with an interview with Graham Getty and a few new reviews.

Second, after doing reviews more or less continuously for the past 15 years, I am taking a much-needed break.  Please refrain from sending new promos for consideration for review.

I am in the process of reorganizing the reviews and interviews pages, and will also attempt to catch up on the backlog of previously submitted music for review. If and when I resume reviewing new music, I will let everyone know.  Thanks!

Phil, I've always enjoyed your reviews and appreciate your work.  Don't blame you at all for taking a break, but I hope we'll see you grinding away again at some point!

I can only hope I make it to the 15-year mark as well and consistently as you have, Phil. Enjoy the break, and like everyone else, I look forward to the point where you fire up the keyboard again.

Brother! After 15 years you surely deserve a holiday!
I always enjoy reading your informed blend of reviews of electronic/Berlin and ambient
(as many Berlin-schooled reviewers still consider ambient as nothing-is-happening music)
but I know there's lot's of "back issues" to peruse while you're away.
Hopefully you won't enjoy all that extra-free-time-real-life-living too much.    ;)
