So, while at Disney World, I decided to buy Christmas gifts for my co-workers.  While at Epcot, I further decided that since everything at DW is made in China, I might as well buy Chinese gifts from the China section.  I'm checking out and the two girls are from Hong Kong.  The discussion went from "It's really cold out" to "They are spraying water on the plants to keep them from being killed by the frost" to "We like oranges" to "In China we get oranges called 'Sunkissed'".  As we were walking out, my wife says "They get Sunkissed Oranges in China?"  I replied "and probably smoke lots of Marlboro's.  You don't think those boats go over there empty, do you?" :D

Hey Florida is cool but too dang many tourists, too much solar radiation, and too much susceptibility to hurricanes.

Congrats on getting a new congressman.

However, Texas got FOUR new congressmen :)

It was in the 70's and sunny here yesterday.  Just a little cooler and cloudy today though.  Flowers still blooming in the garden.

The music scene in Austin is out of control, and Samsung just opened a new plant here.

And did I mention that I am privileged to be employed at a great clinic here?

Yeeeeeeeehaw.

I'm happy because after today, I only have 1 work day out of the next 11.

Lena and I have planned a snowshoeing trip, our first of the season, to Mt. Hood right after Christmas.

I plan to have plenty of time to relax, read, and maybe even tinker around in the studio a little bit.

I'll be going to the liquor store soon for a few special treats.

Lots to be happy about!

Nice weather here in San Antonio, am getting together with family this weekend, job going well, have a good wife, a good dog and am in relatively good health ( it's looking more and more possible that I will live to be 60 in the coming year  :D ).  Life is good!

I get to have lots of time with my wonderful husband, I get to go snowshoeing, I get to drink good whiskey- what more could a girl possibly want or need in life?  ;)

P.S. Wow Harry, the Big 6-0? Really?

I'm finally off for the day.  I'm going to stop at Walmart, and go home and play with my dogs!
