A few sequence-based work I am fond of :
- To complete spectral67's suggestion, I would add Klaus Schulze's "Time Wind" and "Body Love" : with "Moondawn", they make a sort of legendary trilogy of power/space/sequence music of the mid-70s. Then came the splendid "Mirage", with a more quiet, ambient approach...
- Steve Roach, "A few more moments", in "Quiet Music" : a very gentle and totally mesmerizing composition, one of my favorite pieces of music ever.
- Robert Rich, "Numena" : the long, first track has haunting sequences, with the unique color typical of Rich's work.
