Free music from Parallel Worlds
« on: January 23, 2011, 02:40:50 PM »
hi,

in our facebook page:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Parallel-Worlds/192093934136476

there is a (reverbnation) music player with many tracks for free streaming and download, as well as two 'fan exclusive' tracks for free download: track 'Logic' (from 'out of print' album 'Existence' 2003) and track 'Purple Skyline' (from 'out of print' cd compilation 'Ikude')

insider info: the early drum machine used for all drums in track 'Purple Skyline' is an EKO Rhythmaker.

enjoy, or not.

thanks,
best regards,
Bakis.

What do you think of reverbnation as a site to promote your music? And how does the reverbnation player hook into Facebook? I signed up to bandcamp and listed my last release there and was wanting a bit more info from someone/anyone who's using reverbnation as a tool as well.

hi Mike,

reverbnation seems fine as a promotional tool. (you'll find help on the reverbnation website as to how to link the player to your FB page)

i like their pages layout and i have set-up a page there as well:

Hi,

I see that you can't sell your music through them, basically allow someone to stream or download the track(s). I'll think on it. I still have my stuff over at soundclick, artistserver (pay yearly for more space there) and myspace (god I hate all the frggin advertisement there....considering dumping them). Then there is soundcloud is it? Another cloud site to put stuff into.

Mike

PS - your url link is not complete ;-)

you can definitely sell your music through reverbnation - either as albums or singles
