That metal tin edition of
Quaristice was very limited & went like hotcakes upon initial release. I've since looked for it and it now fetches insane bucks, so for the time being I'm cool with the subsequent regular edition. But the metal version (w/extra disc) is tempting.
Re, those Chain Reaction discs: yep, the cracking in the inner ring was a major prob - my copy of the Porter Ricks has a few cracks but still plays okay. I tend to let the discs just sit loose in the can in order to avert further damage; and as it sits quietly on the shelf, it doesn't get any worn, regardless.

, however, keeping the disc in a paper sleeve & then in the tin works fine, too.
I've found that the Recycle or Die tins didn't compromise the integrity of the CDs as much as the CR tins - not sure why.
