Any views on releases that are CDR Lightscribe?

I have never seen or heard of a commercial release labeled with Lightscribe.

I think a potential problem with them is the life of the disk and especially the 'printed' surface.
You have little choice on the make of disk ... no Taiyo Yuden (as far as I know).

It's something I'd like to look into but I can imagine they take while to print so could slow production down if you were doing a large batch job.  Not sure about longevity but CDRs don't last long apparently.

I've generally used "Aquaguard" disks.  I really like the matt paper like quality you get.  It works really well with cardboard sleeves.

I've also used "Taiyo Yuden" nice glossy finish.
