Grace Jones remix
« on: September 01, 2008, 03:46:27 AM »
Hello fellow Hypnos forumnites,

I know it's not strictly ambient, but I'd like to share the remix I did of Grace Jones' new single with you. It's got a lot of 'dark ambient' elements and field recordings in there amongst the industrial-ish clangs and bangs. Quite a bit of detail went into this... (I find it a bit hard to resist diving deep in there moulding and cutting things to shreds.)

The original track and my remix and some lovely other remixes can be found here: http://www.myspace.com/gracejonesofficial

Thank you!

Rob.

Great job, Robert... I also like the first remix on that page as well, but your track was the most interesting of any of them.

Very cool version - it evoked the vibe of a heavier Massive Attack track.
