Jim, thank you so much for posting this! M & I don't really watch television so I've never seen him before, but he is completely amazing! I just watched all the videos, in order of the show, and I'm floating on the biggest warm fuzzy you've ever seen right now!  :) That America would vote him the winner really renews my faith in humanity, and shows me that people can still be filled with a childlike sense of wonder, (even in this day & age). Yay to them for NOT automatically voting for the latest boy band or "girls dancing around in skimpy costumes" group!

Also, I've just always had a thing for ventriloquists.

Terry's amazing. I really enjoyed watching him on America's Got Talent. I think when you first see a ventriloquist dummy (unless it's in Jeff Dunham's hands) you go, "Ohhhhh....no." And then Fator breaks out with the singing and....wow!

But I must say, the guy Fator beat out, singer Cas Haley, is something to listen to as well. Great voice, funky blend of reggae and rock on acoustic guitar. www.cashaley.com.

When you marry a person, you must be willing to accept that some of their interests may seem bewildering to you.  Even when it seems to be the kind of shocking and disturbing revelation that would certainly justify annulment.

Don't worry, Mike. We're all here to support you during this difficult time.

And though it may seem a small consolation, I do want to point out that at least Lena didn't confess to having a thing for mimes.

Because for that you really would have had to kick her to the curb.

Ha ha, one of my sisters actually dated a mime in the seventies. She would bring him to our house and he'd be in full makeup, and he'd never, ever say a word, even to her! My dad just couldn't even bear to be in the same room with him, (they'd walk in, he'd fold his newspaper, get up  & walk out)... :D :D :D  I'm nothing like my sister, (I think ventriloquists are FAR superior to mimes, & they also have much sexier hair).

I don't know the answer to that, Jim! (I'm too busy wondering if, when a mime gets arrested, do the police bother to tell him he has the right to remain silent)?

Hey, if a tree fell on a mime in the forest, would it make a sound?

(Or more importantly, if a tree fell on a mime in the forest, would anyone give a crap)?
