I've Lost on Relaxed Machinery: Info wanted
« on: May 02, 2012, 03:16:02 PM »
Can someone tell me what instruments were used on I've Lost's Relaxed Machinery album?  I know nothing about this artist but really impressed by this release.  Thanks.  :)

I agree that he does some really interesting work. I bet JKN has some details.

Thanks.  Besides the obvious guitars, I'm just curious what kinds of gear he used to get some of these sounds.  I would describe this music as "ultra-melancholy."  I will post my review soon to the Reviews section.

My guess as to why instruments aren't listed in the booklets is that it's pretty much all guitar with effects.

I'm so sorry I missed this question when it was asked.

Bobby is all guitar and a bunch of effects.  He sometimes uses a bit of field recording - but the instrument is guitar.  He really knows how to shape a sound and bring emotion into it.  I don't know what pedals or racks he has - he's not a gear junkie really from what I can gather.
