Fairlight CMI 30A FIRST LOOK | NAMM 2011 | ProAudioStar.com

Mike,s 808 trip into the past post inspired me to add this.......I remember seeing a tv show that filmed Peter Gabriel back in the 1980's taking some portable recorder out into a scrap metal dump and recording the sound of smashing car windscreens.  He then took these recordings and loaded them into his failrlight mapped it across the keys and the rest was history so to speak.  At the price of an average car its just what you need in your studio or garage :o

Have to say the touch screen creation of wavetable like sounds is very special......cant say we have this technology available today....at least in the price range for this mere mortal.

Enjoy
