Thanks for the kind words and also for the orders. Yeah, the dichotomy was somehow sidestepped a bit with this one.
Brian (Milieu) likes to keep the editions short and sweet. I think that he records so much music, that he wants the
releases such as this, or the Coppice Halifax, or any of the other blink-and-miss CDR's to be out and then gone - and then
onto the next project. I respect that decision, but don't necessarily agree with it.
IMO I like the recordings to be available. People arrive late to the ambient/Milieu/particular artist(s) 'game' for whatever reason, and for that reason should not be punished by missing out on a release. For example, I love to recommend Keith Berry's releases - and up until a few weeks ago, when they became available digitally - I would always add the caveat "If you can find them".
