Finally got caught up as of last night with all the episodes I DVR'd. And after talking to my buddy I understand now what the Oceanic 6 refers to. I had no clue! And the episode where Sun has the baby and Jin is running around getting the Panda....then he's at the Ambassadors room to drop it off had me going..."What?". After talking to my buddy last night now I get it. Future/Past split between the two of them. Strange/twisted if you ask me. But it certainly has been a good season! Now to sit down and start watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles which I haven't even watched (all DVR'd)....so I have time to get caught up on it as well. But now we wait only till 4/24 for more Lost episodes!

The 8th new episode was really good... kind of a bridge episode catching up on a main plot point / character.    I'm really happy that none of these first 8 episodes of season 4 were disappointing.    They're on a roll - I hope they keep up the great pace they're setting.

I feel like this might have been the best 8-episode segment in the whole series.  Looking forward to next month and the last 5 eps of the season.

A month ago I thought "Crap, I can't wait a MONTH for the next episode."

Then during the course of the last month, I forgot how anxious I was to see Lost resume, and didn't realize today was the day until I saw an article online.

So, Lost season 4 resumes today with episode 9, at 10 PM.

I had also forgotten. Thanks for reminding.

I believe the recent Galactica episodes had diverted my attention from Lost.

My verdict on episode 9 -- wow, amazing.  This show is just so crazy, and getting stronger lately.

The whole Ben vs. Widmark thing is really interesting all of a sudden.  I won't say more in case some of you haven't seen it yet.

Was a GREAT episode.

They have killed a lot of people recently  :)

Yep, Ben is still so fascinatingly enigmatic. There are some huge pieces missing from the jigsaw, that are only just beginning to be sketched out.

I definitely feel there are more secrets surrounding Ben and don't entirely trust his version of what happened in Sayid's life (being vague on purpose to avoid spoilers).

Yep, he clearly uses people.
And you can't forget the self-serving things he's already done in much earlier episodes.

Ben is actually becoming a likeable character...I never thought that he could have killed Sayid's wife...but now that you mention it, he did have a devious little smile on his face as he walked away from Sayid...

Heidi and I finally watched ep 9...  WOW.   that was the fastest hour yet of Lost.   And yet again... we're left with the question of just what the heck is the monster???

The DVD has been announced for I think Dec. 9 (planning a bit early on this one...) - early box art and such at:  http://www.tvshowsondvd.com

The monster, the sharks in the water with the Darma logo, the cabin, this thing:

Still a TON of unanswered questions...

Very interesting and slightly revealing interview with Michael Emerson, the actor who plays Ben, here:

Not a bad episode 10 last night, but a bit of a drop-off from the quality level we've seen lately.

There was more "WTF was that?" and muddling of the storyline, and confusion, and less of the "gosh, wow, I can't believe it!" revelations they've been hitting us with lately.

Kate looked pretty good wearing nothing but that shirt!  (just WHOSE shirt it was, I won't say, to avoid revealing a spoiler for those of you who are watching on a delayed basis)

It was an appendix episode, in more ways than one.

Interesting rundown of the episode here (CONTAINS SPOILERS)

http://www.thetailsection.com/lost-recaps/episode-410-something-nice-bac.php

I had forgotten the one "oh, wow!" moment of the episode, which was the message that Hurley passed along to Jack.

And what this blog has to say on the issue of the smoke alarm is pretty interesting.

I hope people won't post spoilers here, until at least a few days after each episode is gone.

It's no spoiler, though, to say last night's episode was a "character" episode, in contrast to the "mythology" episodes we've been seeing lately.

It was a good episode... not a 'great' one like we've been seeing - but it was still an amazingly fast hour of tv.   Without revealing too much - I found the hints very interesting about Sawyer's choice.    Miles finding Rousseau was... wow.    I find Miles to be kind of an interesting character and I wonder if we'll really find out all that much more about him.    His snap back to Sawyer about him having a restraining order cracked me up.
