Ordered and awaiting the arrival of Steve's newest double cd release Live Transmissions.
Looking forward to the next "live" Immersion gig at LA's Vortex Dome venue on Oct 25 (one show) and Oct 26 (two shows). Feeling bad about missing out on the Ambicon event and his last Immersion gig in Tucson a few years back I will def be at the Saturdays shows. Yes both shows.

To me, "Live Transmission" 2CD is a crème de la crème of 2013!!! Transcendent listening experience returns once again..., it's an all-inclusive sonic document, expansive dronescapes, warmer panoramic sceneries, didge, fujara sources, tribal beats, fractal grooves, Berlin EM evocations... A truly intense listening journey awaits, superb sonic quality too. Since "Back To Life" 2CD, this is another tremendously triumphant solo release by The Master!!! Have you listened to a live stream from The Drone Zone? Yes or no, no matter, this is a must have!!!

Received and listened to already 3 times. Just as I remembered it live on the drone zone.
Already secured tickets to the Sat 9pm show.

Just got the new CD and haven't listen to it you, but I did listen to the broadcast live at the time so I think I know what I am in for. I ordered my ticket to the late Saturday night show, I will see you all there.
Take care.

Disc one has been on repeat mode all week.  It's absolutely superb.  Time to explore disc 2.

Steve Lazur

I have my ticket for the 9pm Immersion Concert and the reception afterwards.  I am coming from Simi Valley.  I'd like to ride in with someone as I don't like driving to downtown.  Anybody heading to the show from that direction I can pool with?  I'd be willing to pay for gas and fight off zombies.  Hopefully they won't come out until after we leave.

I plan on picking this CD up when I go to the show at the vortex dome. Looking forward to seeing many close friends as much as the show itself. Who else is going? Ambient superstars Loren Nerell, Steve Lazur, Kelly David, and Brian Parnham will be there. Who else?

and with the Rising Ambient Star Numina in attendance, the deal just gets sweeter!

"Rising"? More like crashing meteor. ;). Thanks though, your post put a much needed smile on my face. :)

Why do you think so?   :)  Your music is very deep, mature and strong.

Jesse you just need an image people can get with.  How about a gold chain, short-shorts, and some MC Hammer sunglasses?

There are a couple of reviews on the Hypnos promo write-ups of your releases that tag you with the up and coming or 'rising star' label  ;)

I'm sure you've read Jim Brenholts review of your Sanctuary of Dreams, but I'd recommend a re-read... I just caught it and it's one of the best and funniest reviews ever.

Thank you Poaalpina  :)

Judd - thanks for reminding me about that Brenholts review. RIP Brenholts!

Hahahahahaha yeah that pic of Nik Tyndall on Trance in Space is the cheesiest  dorky shots I've ever seen.  He looks like a white rapper couch potato.  LOL!!!  Thanx for posting that, I laughed so hard my sides hurt.

:)  Any thoughts on what each show Steve will be presenting? I already purchased tickets for the Saturday 9pm show. But the first show at 7pm with dinner inbetween looks to be very short. Maybe 1 hour? But then there is a special VIP artist reception after the 9pm show. Knowing Steve the 9pm show could go on till midnight or beyond. Or it could be an hour or two. Friday nights 730pm is wide open. No dinner or VIP artist reception after the show. I am also thinking of going Friday night. All I know is this event is not to be missed. I'm sure each show will be different.  ;)

Nonsense. I've been a fan of your work since I first discovered it back in the old MP3.com days. Haunting Silence and Solace were great CDs. What a shame MP3.com folded. I discovered a lot of cool stuff there, yours especially. I just wish I could get up to LA for the concert.
There is no spoon. Which sucks because I have a pudding cup.
