Today, Arc label published another track/video from the upcoming re-release of "Ming Noir" by Klaus Wiese.

Greetings,
Tomas

ooh, great album, must dig it out and listen to it again. Highly recommended - if you don't have it yet, this is a great opportunity.

Hmmm, thought rare stuff was being released.  Ming Noir was available for years.  Kind of disappointing for the first release on this label.

I saw a used copy of Ming Noir go for at least $60 (probably higher) not too long ago on Amazon. It's not exactly easy to get for a reasonable price nowadays, and it's far from the only one like that either.

I want to see Cosmic Glue re-released soon too.

Well the prices on Amazon are usually grossly inflated.  I would check Discogs first.

I notice there is a new Grassow CD out on Databloem called First Gift of Life.

:: Remastered by el culto with the main focus on correcting all errors (clicks, digital Dat-Sync error noises etc), often clearly audible in almost each original release.

Nautic Depths & Nunc Stans - Falling Silent (Musical Philosophy)

About 2 years in progress, Falling Silent is the first collaboration album by Nautic Depths. It explores sombre and highly intimate sound worlds, maintaining an expressive flow with many embedded details. So far itīs the warmest album by Nautic Depths, with a focus on touching and latent harmonic layers especially in the lower end of the music - you wonīt hear any intrusive or ear-piercing sounds on this album. Falling Silent works perfectly for any kind of relaxation and personal reflection, as all music is mixed without interruption between the tracks.

By ordering "Falling Silent" within the first 5 days of our preorder (available soon), you will get a special price for the upcoming 2nd part of the first Nautic Depths album "North Passage":

North passage II - The last journey

When available later this year, you will get this ultra deep follow-up in luxury Digipak for 15 Euro only (Worldwide including shipping). In addition, you will receive this album 1 month before the official release date!

Greetings,
Tomas

Just pre-ordered this. The sound sample, with headphones, sounds great, and the cover art is intriguingly bleak. I'm really looking forward to it!

I was shocked when Tomas said that he wont send the CD becourse I live in Ukraine. I always was ordering all the cds and releases from Musical Philosophy all this time. Im very big fan of ambient music and now its a shame that the artists mix the political situation with music tastes and with music worlds(( Im really dissapointed.. I have no idea how to get now a new cd and also forthcoming also((( shit

Hello Dmytro,

I donīt understand why you post it in this thread (maybe one of the moderators can move both post to the "el culto news" thread???), but all youīre saying about me mixing politic and music is totally untruth. To rectify your assumptions, here is the email iīve sent to you:

"Hello Dmytro,

You probably havenīt received my previous information email with the lastest news about shipping (it was also announced on the web site). Since some month we have changed our shipping policy...see here:

http://www.el-culto.com/shop/index.html

For postal and logistic reason unfortunately we donīt ship anymore to several countries in the East (Ukraine included).

Iīm sorry for possible dissapointments!

All the best,
Tomas"

So please stick to the truth!

Greetings,
Tomas

once again you are posting personal information on the forum,  did you ask for his permission to post his real name ?
not all want the online alias linked to a real name... (I asked a moderator recently to remove mine)

I decided to edit some text. just want to say, that I really hope Tomas will change the situation in the future, coourse the ukrainian fans are most loyal. as for me - i never told that some parcel lost and I agree to take all the risks if the parcel will be lost, and pay once again if it happens. I just want to have music that I like - thats all!! Nothing more. Course Im ambient music fan! I like digipacks and clear quality digipacks!!

Well I'm not surprised...

Tomas has the most harsh comments here, I don't understand why..

My suggestion is to buy somewhere else, maybe other labels that ship to Russia?

:: PREORDER ::

Klaus Wiese - Maquam (2014 Version)

The second Arc release "Maquam" is a magnum opus in the world of deep Ambient Music. The album includes 3 very long tracks, offering hypnotic expanding soundscapes and subtle rhythms leading to a mental Trance state.

:: Remastered by el culto with the main focus on correcting all errors (clicks, digital Dat-Sync error noises etc), often clearly audible in almost each original release. To preserve the unique, warm sound Klaus is known for, each track was treated using individual chains of analogue equipment only.

Klaus Wiese - Shapes I (Previously Unreleased / 2015 Version)

Shapes I is the first chapter of the Shape Series which wasnīt released anywhere else before. Most previously released albums by Klaus Wiese were clearly split into releases with a more acoustic approach (e.g. the series "Tibetische Klangschalen"), while other CDs like "Space", "Divine Orbit" and "Maquam" had a very spatious, hypnotic and timelessly flowing ambient feeling. The Shape Series focuses on the latter style, inviting the listener to experience a deep, lasting journey through time and space.
